If a recall for a vehicle is fixed, is honda obligated to disclose that information? Im purchasing a used 2025 CPO hybrid touring crv w2000 miles and the worm wheel is not a current open recall. Via carfax there's Only one open recall, the fuel pump. Could that mean they fixed the worm wheel already? I asked the sales manager who said this vihicle simply doesnt have that recall.

What people do to make money on this site? Nobody is selling trucks. Stop wasting our time. We already know that dodges advertising might be going out of business chevy's not going doing good with all the lawsuits, toyota's doing really bad problems with the engine. You're not telling nobody nothing new

Bottom line prices are too damn high. When I hear what cars are going for these days it just makes me what to hold on to the car that I have. $1200 for a car payment is insane. Paying that for a car means most people will never own their own home.

Our Ford dealership here in Canada is also flooded with trucks and bronco sport that barely sell. Some of them have over 200 days of sitting, people only buy them when there's incentives.

I can say that the local Subaru dealership is packed all the time with shoppers and moving cars. They also are willing to work a good deal with you and also did not do market adjustments during the pandemic. The Ford and Ram Dealership are overflowing with cars and during the pandemic they had 10k plus mark ups and people remember that stuff.

NOW IS NOT THE BEST TIME TO BUY A NEW CAR. Prices are at an all time high. A 7.7% discount off MSRP only discounts the sales tax in most locations. You still pay the MSRP. And, with insurance rates climbing you have to carry full insurance on financed automobiles. With Ford leading the race for the most recalls, followed closely by Stellantis and Toyota you may not be able to even drive your new car very often. You will more likely become friends with your local car rental company. Let the manufacturers eat the stuff for screwing us so much during the pandemic. They deserve it.

My dealer in Canada has 2023s at discounts and financing incentives. I don't think of 23s as outdated. For a great discount it might be worth it to offset depreciation. For me, I'm happy with my '19 I bought cash and factory-ordered it at a discount that's similar to today's '23 clear-outs. I do low enough miles I can baby it indefinitely.

JD Power treats all faults and issues similarily. So, a complete engine breakdown is considered of same critical issue as Bluetooth getting disconnected from the infotainment system. J.D. Power's chart is a completely wrong thing study for reliability of cars. Cars that offer no features will always top that chart as reliable.

Recently had warranty work at dealer on 2022. new cost was 37k, only 18k miles, yet dealer wanted to buy it with a 20k trade in offer🤣 all new inventory on lot has a ADM sticker for 7k above msrp. plus, they charge a $999 dealer fees on sales. 🤮 i told them if stupid people in this state pay that, that's their problem. where i moved from, they would laugh and walk out. florida dealers are mostly stealerships. 🍋🤡💩👺👀💯🙄👎

It's a pretty picture for me. I buy cars, I don't sell them. They can try to dig in all they want but they're either gonna budge or not sell them. It's not a need, it's a want. I got ALL the leverage.

Are you a pitch man for the auto industry? People simply need to wait 4 to 6 weeks! In that time Biden will resign and Harris will be in. The economy/dollar will collapse and with it EVERY dealer. Then people can simply go to the dealership they want to and go in take the FOBS and drive off with vehicle of their choice. The greatest event in human history is coming so very soon if you understand global derivatives and Treasury action.

Last night I left my local Aldi, I had to pick up some last minute groceries like eggs, they're only $2.15 a dozen right now FYI, cheaper than BJ's. As I'm loading the car I hear an engine racing towards me on route 27, like it's in too low of a gear for the speed it's traveling. I look up and I can't tell if it was a Jeep Cherokee or a Wagoneer but I know it was one of those by the head and tail lights. Don't know if the driver had it in "sport" mode but didn't sound good for a car that's almost brand new. But hey I can't laugh, I got into my [wife's] 2023 Kia Soul and drove away. 😆

some automakers retain resale value well take a 2005 Toyota Camry with less than 40k miles on it is worth between 4,200 and 5,700 at the moment granted a Camry is 16 Ft long and between 3,200-3,600 LBs while for ex a 1965 Buick Skylark GS is 16.92 Ft long and had 325 HP and 425 Ft LB torque and could do a quarter mile in 13.4 secs
