The 2020 Lexus LX 570 Combines Legendary Reliability with Luxury

I spend a week with the 2020 Lexus LX 570 3-row and find that while it definitely has it's shortcomings, it's still a solid choice for those that value reliability and ruggedness over having the newest tech. With an as-tested price of $103,224 it does offer less room and fewer luxury features than most of it's competitors. But if you plan to keep the LX a long time, it will almost certainly cost you less to maintain than all the others. What do you think of the LX570? Lexus is true luxury. When you buy a luxury product you want it to be high end/quality but you also want it to last longer than a non luxury product and Lexus is the only luxury car that is truly capable of this.

Man with this body kit it looks BADASS. I love the interior. Love that motor. Love the go anywhere drivetrains. Love the angry front end. This is the best Luxury SUV. The only downside is mpg but if you have the money this can’t be beat

The old key card is kind of thick and heavy to have in wallet all the time though, and car cannot be unlocked remotely, not sure if there is a new one. But overall still useful for those that don’t want to carry another large key fob.

The motor itself may be bullet proof and last a million miles but will the electronics and sensors? Maybe not. Ive had a couple cars recently whose motors were just fine but they left me stranded due to not being able to start the car due to electronics gremlins

It’s an anachronism for sure. But with all the aging boomers around, I suppose it’s an alternative for those who are slightly technophobic and wary of the jackrabbit crazy quick and firm CUVs/crossovers being force fed to auto consumers as an alternative to an old Eldorado....but if there’s any candidate for needing a mild hybrid/electric assist for efficiency, it’s this. It, then again, doing a million miles w that engine albeit in a Tundra is impressive in this auto lease age. that’s basically going back and forth to the Moon....Twice! And halfway back a third time.

The Styling is Ancient as well as the Dash and rear end. I'd go with anything else for a more updated feel. For 101K You can buy so much more for less in other brands. Lexus has been losing its luster to the rest of the industry. They used to be #1 but they have fallen short all around. I guess the only thing going is the reliability. This looks like it came from 1995! LOL
