I just bought mine a few days ago (limited gas version w/ AWD) and took it to the local off road trail/obstacle course for a day date with my wife and we loved it. We climbed steep hills, hit some supers on the course and ran it through the sand pit with no issues. Just a ton of fun. I personally think it’s a really great all around vehicle. Toyota hit it out of the park with this generation RAV-4. The interior and exterior are very nice and packed with a litany of features. They also kept the tried and true 2.5L 4 cylinder at a time when every manufacturer is going the forced induction route at the expense of reliability and longevity. These RAV-4s will sell like hot cakes!

I have a suggestion: when talking about pricing, perhaps also mention the base trim price (eg, with no options) so that viewers get an idea of where the car starts. Nowadays, even mainstream cars (and especially full-size trucks) can have "near-luxury" or outright luxury trims that more than double the starting price. A viewer that is unfamiliar with a particular car may see a sky-high price on the top trim and never even realize there was a significantly cheaper version available. I don't think you need to go full-on option package breakdown - let the viewer do that research on his own.

I was greeted at the rental car aisle with a '20 Rav the other day. After a week, I was almost speechless. Why? Nearly 450,000 Americans bought one of these. It was noisy, had a coarse engine, and steering/handling were marginal at best. Granted it was a rental car trim grade (read: lower) but the interior was laughably Dollar Store caliber. Maybe the Limited trim would change things markedly, but I would start with a better vehicle (CX-5 or ?) or smarter still, go the CPO route and get a gently-used Q5, X3, or Lincoln Corsair. Toyotas may have great reliability, but I have yet to drive one where I came away thinking they spent twelve cents on driving dynamics. Maybe a Supra would change my mind, but for a fraction of the cost of a new one I'll stick with my used 911 (which is going up in value).

We got a new LE (FWD only) this Summer. It is the lightest RAV4 with no moonroof and no rear driveline components. As long as you're willing to wring out the engine, it is quick enough in manual shift mode. Love the looks and it is a great on gas too...my wife loves that part. Yeah I got a 20 RAV4 LE. My step mom had a 04 Rav back in the day and it could not have been any better. Talked my fiance into getting one to replace her Santa Fe and she loves it. Most of their complaints are fixed by getting A FWD or Hybrid version because both are faster, the hybrid actually being a good bit faster, then the infotainment theme can also be changed. I wish I had moved up to get the bigger screen and power seats but this is a great commuter and I trust it through and through

I bought a blizzard white limited hybrid 4 months ago. I am very happy with it-the awd hybrid is faster than the gas and it's great for my 45 min commute. I still own my dads old 1999 4runner if I want to tow or off road, and I'm interested in upgrading to the rav4 prime when it becomes available.

@@alanmay7929 How much is a Yaris GR? A Fiesta is better and cost thousands of Euros less. Again Toyota owners don't know how to differentiate reliability with good. A knife is more dependable than a gun as a gun may jam, but the gun still wins in a fight. Well the Toyota is the knife in this case. They just explained everything that is wrong with this Toyota, also look at their Lexus RX video. Toyota is also very reliable because they don't innovate, keep old engines, tech, etc so of course it won't go wrong. A BMW is light years ahead of a Lexus, yes it breaks down, but not until you returned it from it's lease. I had a BMW no problems, but then again less than 40,000 kilometers.

@@JuanGarcia-zq5tp the yaris GR is way better than the ford fiesta end of story, toyota is not willing to make sport cars but also toyota participates in Lemans, WRC and many other manufacturers areent even present there
