Lol, for me it was a ridiculous presentation that ignores the real reasons/advantages for choosing this brand and model. Details for a product like this are more important than style. I get that it is more modern with an eye on being open. But actually living in this and using it? So much has been left out of the presentation, i am suspicious. Modest storage, no oven and etc. Is this truck camper for a first time buyer that will occasionally use it on weekends? Seems so.

When I was a kid, I used to love going places with my grandfather in his truck camper. Crawling from the cab into the camper was always fun. This is the first truck camper I’ve seen on KZbin that has a pass through window.

Nice camper. @2:54 I see a large boxy item underneath the dinnette. Is this part of the Alde system? Unfortunately, it looks like it takes up more than 50% of the leg/foot room, which would only allow seating for 2 adults. We like to camp with friends who take their own rig and we take turns playing cards or having dinner in each others camper, so it looks like that would not allow for more than two people sitting at the table. I didn't see a ceiling fan for the bedroom. Is this something that is available as an option ?

Good morning! The box under the dinette and below the window holds a small portion of the Alde. You can see where it juts out. However, the majority of that step out is due to the shape of the camper. There is nothing below it as it is the start of the basement.

Thanks, and just “one more” feature request... I stayed the night in a Cirrus and learned something interesting. When the truck was parked at an angle the shower water wouldn’t drain properly. Solution: add a much more steeper angle to the floor drain pan to accommodate better drainage when the camper is at a reasonable incline and just add a teak wood floor to flatten it out for people to stand in.

820/920 with a dry bath, 400amp-hour LiFePO4, 3000w inverter, and 800Watt+ solar would be perfect out of factory for me. I’d personally add outside locked storage box as an option. Good stuff!

Pretty please with a cherry on top, start building a longbed, 8 foot box Truck camper again. Absolutely love this design, styling, etc....what happened to your 920? All of your features are great, add a porcelain toilet, and a touch more bathroom space, a Lithium battery package with 4-600amp hours, 3000 w inverter, and 600w + of solar panels on the roof. Love the 820 for a Ram megacab dually, plenty of capacity left and a smart layout!

Unfortunately, the 920 was discontinued due to Covid related issues (according to one of their salesman), but I would certainly be interested in a newer version, especially if lighter so I can stay with a SRW one ton with some towing reserve. I was told to "just monitor their website", so will just have to be patient and keep my fingers crossed!

Any consideration by NuCamp for a lithium power system? Also, I believe there is an issue with formaldehyde off gassing from the cabinetry. Is this true? Love the more modern interior compared with other campers on the market.

Thank you for your question! We are now installing power centers that have a lithium switch on them. This will allow our customers to use lithium batteries if they choose. However, we are not installing lithium batteries into the units themselves.

Forward looking camper with backward looking black tank. Unheated battery compartment is problematic for Lithium batteries. Is more solar possible? Great video, have a question. I've seen many people with this camper on 2500 gmc and chevys. I have a 2015 Denali HD diesel and it shows only 2300# payload on the yellow sticker and the "truck camper load information" number in the glove box is even less for slide in campers at 1560#. Do you know how they are able to equip this? or are they all over weight? Because even with gas engine that's 500-700# less that's only around 2060-2260# capacity based on the slide in camper sticker in the glove box. Thanks.

I love this camper but it's missing some of the features from the older models that I liked about the 920. 1. Propane generator. 2. More countertop space 3. Cabinet next to bathroom. 4. Linen closet in bathroom. 5. Taller fridge 6 LOCKS!!!! Why have y'all removed the locks from all the storage bins!!!!!! 7. Pull out pantry is missing. 😞 Why have these things been removed! to be frank, at that point you might as well get a travel trailer. or a house. the idea of truck campers is supposed to to be lightweight minimalistic and mobile. this unit itself pushes the limits of payload capacities of many pickup trucks. unfortunately most truck camper manufacturers theses day cater to the needs of the consumer (buyer) market. the more weight you put into a truck camper the less stability it will have since the platform on the bed its already at a high center of gravity; higher risk of rollover, and road accidents (heavy trucks need bigger brakes, airbag upgrades, the costs add up). do you understand how much braking force is needed to stop a vehicle weighing over 4tonns? so your generator and other knick nack accessories would be best for a utility trailer.

nuCamp RV - Teardrop Trailers & Truck Campers Many countries outside of the United States do not have black tank dumping sites. The closest place I could dump a black tank is over 200 miles away! It seems to me that if a small proportion of the population can use a black tank, and yet ANYBODY can use a cassette toilet, then the default should be a cassette toilet - like in Europe. The people who prefer a black tank can order that as the option. Completely backwards the way you have it now. With the popularity of Vanlife, you would think that the manufacturers would watch some of those videos and see what kind of things people are putting in their vans. There’s probably 1000 custom van tours on KZbin and I bet you can’t find one where somebody installed a black tank... because nobody in their right mind wants a 30 gallon tank of poo dragging along with them on a camping trip.
