Yes that burgundy colour is very friendly and attractive , when the sun is rising up , I did buy a 600 coupe 12 V same colour wrapped in black grey but when they renewed the wrap I was really hesitating to not wrap it in metallic black!! 😅 and keep that superb colour !

Favorite exterior gear is the rear door that opens wide with a gesture. Favorite interior gear is the realtime navigation direction in the heads up display. Can't wait til you drive these cars and experience the autobahn bred all wheel steering.

That exterior color is fabulous. Still not a fan of that titanic tablet down the center console. Other than that, this car is fantastic.

I don't like the huge tablet either. It's ugly, distracting and makes driving harder because there are less physical buttons. Sadly at least for now that is the future of all S-Class/7 Series/A8 because they would get bad reviews/less people would buy them if they weren't on top of modern technology even if it makes the cars worse. The EQS is an example of how far the screens will go and how bad they will make the interiors look. We can all blame and boycot Tesla for this ;)

@@epicon6 I couldn't agree with you more stridently. I am all for technology - but not this monstrosity! That console is ugly in the extreme. Last year's S class was so, so nice. You couldn't pay me to drive THIS mess. And the exterior of this car is gorgeous in that rubelite color. I'm just totally disappointed with that center console - a complete deal breaker.

Ben, what are your thoughts about the driver dashboard? I have a 2016 S550 and really love how the display is integrated into the dash. The new car looks like it has the cheap looking ipad for the information. It reminds me of the older C class like it was just stuck there. I'm interested to hear your opinion.

I recently received delivery of my new 2021 Maybach S 680 yesterday so I have yet to set up all my preferences but I went for regular old non two-tone black with a black interior I also optioned the extended rear center console and went for the champagne flute wheel's and got the regular piano black and steel trim as well as the champagne flute's themselves and also got the optional fridge and the upgraded leather package with the heated leather steering wheel and lastly I got the electronic rear door option. MSRP ended up being $225,550 USD after taxes, fee's and other additional cost's I recently turned 21 year's old and wanted to get something that wasn't as recognized as say a Rolls-Royce phantom long wheelbase or any Rolls-Royce for that matter as I think that Rolls-Royce is a bit too overrated and expensive when you could get roughly the same setup for around the half the price of a phantom extended wheelbase nothing against Rolls-Royce I just wouldn't want to or need to spend that much money on a high end luxury car when there are clearly cheaper options out there.

To me it's almost perfect but what's wrong with it bugs me a lot. They got it so close but to me the front is too round and soft and overall it's a little too round and it's missing a little bit of agressiveness. And i can't get over the ugly iPad in the middle and the lack of physical buttons. I still hope the facelift will save it a few years later. The grille is like a zit i would like to pop because it comes out too much and the headlights are the only well shaped thing in the front and all of the other shapes in the front fight with each other. I might get used to this design though and change my mind.

EVERY reviewer of this car says they wish it had a Maybach hood ornament to distinguish it from the "Average" S-Class. They ALL seem to forget that when the previous Maybach had Maybach emblems all over the car, and it didn't look exactly like an S-Class, they couldn't sell them. This way seems to work, so let it work.
