The 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor Is A Unrivaled Beefy Ford Performance SUV

We all knew a #FordBroncoRaptor was coming and for 2022, the #BroncoRaptor is here. It borrows parts from the F-150 #Raptor and #Ford promises it will be the most capable and powerful #Bronco ever. It uses a uniquely tuned 3.0L twin-turbo engine under the hood making more than 400 HP, while the suspension has been massaged to give owners over 13" of ground clearance on standard 37" tall tires. It's available to order in March to existing Bronco reservation holders and deliveries start this summer.

@@Sammy-db3xj KZbin-wise I think yes, Sofyan/Redline has been doing this longer, but Doug's been in the automotive-journalist world for a while, he wrote for Autotrader, Jalopnik etc for years as well. Each are unique in their own way. Mostly I was referring to actual "vehicle access" early - meaning when a product is released, whom the manufactures pick to get early accesses to.

@@DROIDX40 Maybe because this vehicle isn’t meant to be affordable. It’s like a Ram TRX or Corvette Z06. Few people can buy one, but the ones that can are in for something you don’t get on any other car at the price (that being said, I fully expect the Raptor R to beat the TRX in performance).

This Bronco still looks weird to me. I appreciate that Ford made it. However looks wise I still prefer the wrangler rubicon. The Bronco is cool for what it is especially if you love the jeep look and wanna go off roading.

I love it. Looks great and plenty of power.......But, it's a ridiculous vehicle, with a ridiculous engine, at a ridiculous price, that will be purchased by ridiculous people with too much money....so, I'm getting one.....just kidding, I'm getting a Rivian, cuz I want high performance, but I HATE stopping for gas - charge whenever I'm at home, or shopping, or at work. I'm looking forward to NEVER stopping for gas again, never changing oil, or transmission fluid, or radiator fluid.

@@persaud101 I was talking about the Sequoia and 4Runner. They lack capability in comparison to a Wrangler or Bronco, and their design is 15 years old. Simply put, they don’t have what it takes to compete on even ground when you take them off-road.
