The 2022 Mazda BT-50 has just arrived on our shores and from the looks of it, the Mazda BT-50 has the makings of a winner. The 2022 Mazda BT-50 4x2 AT is the base model automatic variant of the Mazda BT50. The Mazda BT50 4x2 is based off the Isuzu DMAX, and is similar to the Isuzu DMAX LSA 4x2 mechanically. In this Filipino car review, I take a good look at the Mazda BT50 4x2 AT to see how it stacks up in the local pickup wars. This was my first time to drive the 2022 Mazda BT-50 4x2 AT, and so my assessments were before I got to borrow the Mazda BT-50 4x4 from Mazda Philippines.
Mazda Philippines requested that i publish the 2022 Mazda BT-50 4x4 video first before publishing this 2022 Mazda BT-50 4x2 AT review video. The Mazda BT50 may have been an underdog in the pickup truck wars, but not anymore. It now has the full equipment needed to take on the giants in the truck wars, like the Toyota Hilux, the Mitsubishi Strada, the Ford Ranger, and the Isuzu DMAX and the Nissan Navara.

not only mazda, but all japan cars(🇹🇭🇮🇩) very outdated, plastic dashboard, poor design, infosystem w/o revcam and too small or LD or LR, overpriced, uncomfort seat.

The car costs 1.43m php, for that price you could get the navara VL 4x2 which has a 360 camera and literally most of the features that you would find in the top spec bt 50 plus leather seats (except for the adaptive cruise control, navara only has the basic one), imo this is an overpriced 4x2 pick up truck, it costs you 1.43m and even the navara ve which is 100k cheaper has more active tech and passive safety features than this 4x2 bt50 variant lol

Nissan doesn't have the Yojin3 5 year free service plan. The Navarra is now 7yrs old and it shows specially on the Dashboard it is dated.
