We have seen Sixers choked when their opponents double teamed Joel Embiid. Now, opponents will not be able to ‘easily’ choose to double team Joel, because of Harden. Joel sometimes struggled when he had to iso. With Harden, who has great playmaking skills, Embiid can make shots with better quality.

I think it’s interesting that when you talked about the KP-dinwiddie trade, you didn’t mention the fact that the wizards now have no guard play and the mavs have way too much. Luka, hardaway, bullock, Brunson, and dinwiddie can’t all get minutes in Dallas, and with Beal hurt the Washington guards are Neto, ish smith, and KCP. Neither of those sound like a good situation

Wizards won, because they got rid of two ineffective players who have huge contracts. They already have way too much depth, so turning two players who aren’t helping the team win in the one who could is a win. Them getting rid of Berton‘s contract is Awesome.

@@sirdromos2769 no, Bertans is very bad. And Spence’s contract is terrible. He’s not a good enough playmaker, and has a real reluctancy to actually taking shots. yet he complains when he doesn’t get them. he is always in the wrong spot defensively, and aint a shooter.

@@notjustboog Dinwiddie has been bad this season and there was obviously a chemistry issue with him and Beal, and really the entire team it seems. He’s coming off an ACL injury so we’ll have to see if he can get back to being at least like a productive 6th man or something. I don’t see him being more than that, like that’d be his ceiling. Bertans is what he is. He can’t defend at all, can’t do much beside shoot 3s. He hasn’t gotten many mins in WAS this year and it’s been very sporadic. Maybe in DAL he’ll be able to consistently get like 20mpg and get back to shooting ~38%+ from 3 on 6+ attempts or whatever. If he can’t in DAL w Luka then he can’t anywhere let’s be real. With regards to KP, man I just don’t know. When he’s playing he looks pretty damn good especially if you put him next to a big that can defend and shoot a little. But he’s hurt a lot, hell he’s hurt right now chilling on my fantasy IL (so is Beal, reminds me I gotta drop him 😞) but hopefully he can come back and be productive. Like Kenny said it’s just weird to me. I’ve been saying that since it happened. It’s still weird. I don’t think it’s a trade we can judge until down the line tbh. At first glance it doesn’t seem great for either. Worse for DAL, but not great for WAS either. I worry that WAS is just gonna super max Beal and be chasing a play-in for years, and that DAL will never put a good enough team around Luka. Only time will tell.

@@BOnYTB it definitely is a weird trade, Spence’s issues were a little more than chemistry. With KP, not many teams could have the room to take a flyer on KP, other than the Wizards. When he plays, he’ll be alongside Kuzma and Beal. Those 3 would be better than just play-in. As a Wizards fan, I do not want the Beal SM, like most of our fan base doesn’t lmao, but aye shit happens

As a nets fan as soon as we got rid of D’Angelo Russell, I lost faith. We had such a solid core to build around and they are still so young. Jarrett Allen, Caris Levert, Spencer Dinwiddie.. search the highlights for March 17th 2019 and tell me that team with a couple more years of experience would be a top 5 team in the NBA. Out of all the playmakers we keep Joe Harris not saying he’s bad but I’d rather have a 2 way player like Levert any day. and to give all that up for James to just give up on us, ITS LIKE THE KG PAUL PIERCE TRADE ALL OVER AGAIN
