Ive had Chevy’s my whole life but decided to go with the Power Wagon because of the off road capabilities built on a rugged 2500 platform (boxed frame, HD brakes, etc). I was fully expecting a badass hard core off road capable truck (which I got), but what I wasn’t expecting was the ride quality. It drives and rides like a Denali going down the road. The transmission is buttery smooth and the hemi has gobs of power. I have a 100-mile round-trip commute in the rockies and I’ve never been so comfortable making that drive. If you want a daily driver that does EVERYTHING you ask of it with comfort and ease, this is your truck. If you need to tow a triple axle 5th wheel RV camper, get the Tremor. But I tow a K5 Blazer on a steel double-axle car hauler with my PW and it does it with ease. Was skeptical about leaving Chevy, but I’ve never loved a truck more than my Power Wagon. Highly recommended.

LISTEN anyone with a ram 2500 6.4, if you want your truck to feel weightless, get a pedal commander... highly recommend and the truck flysss lol
@Brian-jv8iy2 жыл бұрын
All pedal commander does is shorten the acceleration pedal range, you might as well keep the more precise control over your car and just do a kick down when needed, that’s all pedal commander does.
@skylord35112 жыл бұрын
@@Brian-jv8iy nah man, I promise you it's different cause I had one in my redeye and I liked it more in my sisters 2500. It does shorten it but it also makes the truck get torque quicker making it feel weightless for how much gas you give it.

12/15 mpg!! Hahaha! My 2022 Power Wagon, driven gently, gets 8 in the city and 11 mpg at 75 mph. It is my only complaint about the vehicle. Take it over diesel or turboed V-6 any day. Absolute beast off-road. And I don't tow much. It is perfect. I will add a 100 gallon auxiliary tank and then no range anxiety
@derekheuring29844 ай бұрын
Yeah, you don't buy a Power Wagon for gas mileage but my 2022 PW averages 12.5 mpg for my combined city/highway commute. The secret is to not romp on it as you accelerate. You can also improve your mileage by 2 to 3 mpg buying ethanol free gasoline which is available at Murphy USA. Lastly, I use Walmart+ for 10 cents off a gallon and apps like UpSide to save money on my gasoline. Every little bit helps.

I go at an angle to miss my bumper or tow hitch. I guess it's preferences. The Jeeps flip over when they climb a 5-cent dime at any angle, I've Seen it, the on-point angle is for jeeps or similar, that flip over easily. A power wagon at that angle will be okay with it. Angle it then straighten it out on the hill. The angle on departure, to miss the undercarriage. But that's me.

Woah woah woah, most capable HD off roader? Not if you get hung up on rocks with those puny 33” tires… I have a F250 Tremor diesel with factory 35’s (can easily go to 37’s), integrated winch and I would say it’s pretty even on capability (no factory front locker), but the Ford super duty tremors can still seriously tow and haul like a true HD. Cool truck though!

@@daveyjones369 No real mud here in Colorado, but what’s the issue with mud?
@daveyjones3692 жыл бұрын
@ Greg Weik OH thats to bad, because mud is fun... Till ya gotta clean it off... So the reason diesels don't do good in mud is because their front ends are so heavy compared to a gas engine. So the front tends to sink real fast on a diesel..
@fscottgray97842 жыл бұрын
The axle articulation front and rear is much more on the ram even without its sway bar disconnect. The Ford with diesel is a much better tow and haul vehicle though. 37 fit easily on the ram also.
@grisa123452 жыл бұрын
@@fscottgray9784 Stock for stock I think the 35’s might be more of an advantage in certain situations over front lockers and the sway bar disconnect. Both are good trucks, but I think the Super Duty Tremor is the more well-rounded package.
