The 2022 TMEA All-State Mariachi Ensemble in Concert 02/12/22!

This is the 2022 TMEA All-State Mariachi Ensemble, Performing Live and in concert, at the Henry B. González Convention Center on February 12, 2022. Under the direction of Maestro José L. Hernández of Mariachi Sol de México, this outstanding group of the Top 18 High School Mariachi Musicians in the State of Texas are the 2nd Mariachi Ensemble to be formed but the 1st to Perform together in person in Post-Covid Pandemic shutdown era. Congratulations to all students & directors involved as well as to the organizers of the event and the TMEA State Office for making this happen!

I'm currently at a Whataburger tonight and saw y'all there! I asked one of your chaperones who you were and if you had a KZbin account. The music is PHENOMENAL and helped pass the time while waiting for my order because those poor people in the kitchen were bombarded with orders. McAllen has the best mariachi in the country but I only see two McAllen members in this all-state mariachi. I guess that's okay. I think I see five from one single mariachi (green uniform) and six from another single mariachi (beige uniform) which i don't know. That's impressive. I wish we could know the musicians' names and which groups (high schools) they represent. This concert was really, really good. Don't ask me how i know. Thanks.

I was busy in the tenor bass choir but i would've killed to see this
