The 2023 OECD call for innovation in public services

More than 25,000 Indonesian companies have a negative impact on the environment. PROPER, an environmental governance framework, improves compliance and efficiency, mitigate the negative environmental impact, and engages in restoration and community empowerment. PROPER provides benefits for companies and communities by providing reliable information on environmental management, addressing challenges in environmental and social governance practices.
In 2023, there are 3.694 (three thousand three hundred ninety four) companies that introduced 1,193 (one thousand one hundred ninety three) eco-innovations, saving 158.54 (one hundred fifty eight point five) trillion Rupiah -23.4% (twenty three point four percent) more efficient than 2022 (two thousand and twenty two). These innovations led to 554.8 (five hundred fifty four point eight) million GJ (giga jole) energy savings; reductions of 299.6 (two hundred ninety nine point six) tons CO2eq (carbon dioxide equivalent) GHG (greenhouse gasses), 15.81 (fifteen point eighty one) million tons of conventional emission, 55.4 (fifty five point four) million tons of hazardous waste, 6.03 (six point o three) million tons of water pollution load; and promoted Reduce, Reuse, Recycle for 34.8 (thirty four point eight) million tons of non-hazardous waste, 437.3 (four hundred thirty seven point three) million m3 (meter cubic) water efficiency, and biodiversity initiatives.
1.56 (one point fifty six) trillion Rupiah was distributed for community empowerment, whereas another 57.34 (fifty seven point thirty four) trillion rupiah was dedicated to 20,052 (twenty thousand fifty two) activities contributing to the SDGs targets
