My dream cars are range rovers but I think the 2020 sports looked better, especially the SVR, but the 2022 full sized vogue looks beautiful, and ik people say they're unreliable but people just need to treat them right and service them. I love them but my dream one day would be to get one. Land rover forever 💪

I don’t think the car you drove had the Stormer handling pack which adds electric anti rail bars to keep it level, torque vectoring etc. it does bring it closer to a Cayenne although it’s not trying to compete with the Porsche as a like for like vehicle. It’s a sport done the Land Rover way.

I’m in love with the new design, particularly on the full size. Completely beautiful. I currently have a 2016 full side Supercharged 5.0 Rover (510hp) I’m in love with the new design, but don’t know how I feel about the N63 bmw engine sitting under the hood. One good thing about it will be the high tune-ability. Twin turbo is simply much easier to make power than a Supercharged application. I will miss the instant response of the SC if I do upgrade, but I don’t think I’ll much care given the potential output of the N63. (523Hp stock) I’m a Mercedes guy but can’t sit here and act like BMW isn’t known for making extremely tunable engines with plenty after market support.

It is a great shame all of the Range Rover vehicles that are tested nowadays seem to come on the ridiculous optional 23 inch wheels and then the testers complain about the ride quality. It would be great to see a test on the standard 21 inch wheels to understand how the ride quality is improved.

I have been evaluating the RR Sport for the past couple months as well as the X5 and Cayenne. And I currently own a 2021 X5 with M sport package 4.0 AWD. My conclusion is the RR Sport is the most luxurious and the best looking interior by a significant margin. FYI I am attracted to the minimalist design so keep that in mind but the materials are exceptional and luxurious. Driving it is a quiet comfy experience while the BMW handles much better. That is steering is more responsive , the vehicle feels smaller than the RR. The BMW interior is very nice too and luxurious but not at the level of a RR. So I think it is personal preference. The Cayenne on the other hand has a cheaper looking and less attractive interior in my opinion. And the pricing by my analysis is well above BMW but not a better vehicle. And tired looking bin my opinion. The only unknown in my opinion is the reliability of RR. They have a terrible reputation and it is well deserved based on my research. BMW is very dependable I have found. Porsche not as much and a nightmare cost wise for routine maintenance.

Cayenne: better leather (higher trim has more leather then any other SUV), more comfort, best audio system, insanely pricey during maintenance, extremely pleasant to drive. RRS: bigger, better if not best at off-road, best for camping, too much plastic which will drive you insane after 3 months of ownership. Audi Q7: best of 2 worlds.
