Biggest problem with Volvos is the multimedia system. The vertical display does not play nicely with CarPlay

Volvo has unflinching reliability. And a top notch safety record. Not a single death involving a Volvo SUV till now! And the XC90 has grace, whereas all other full size SUVs nowadays just have bling. Except the Maybach GLS600, which seems to have understood the XC90's secret to elegance through simplistic lines and subtle curves. Personally, the fact that the XC90 is not much loaded with mostly unwanted electronic wizardry and gadgets usually found in other brands, is actually good. The lesser the electronic, lesser the chance of a glitch. Besides, it makes driving a vehicle more interesting and involving.

No one buys a new xc90 and plans to keep it 10 years. Even if they included a 10 year warranty, it would probably be non transferable and the second owner wouldn’t be able to use it.
