Bad take bro. Tatums all time; and Brown might be too. Also Jrue is the best defensive guard since Gary Payton. This Celtics team has similarities to the pistons, but so does every team that wins a title, but that doesn’t have the best player in the world.

as a euro fan, a spoiler block for the literal finals result would have been nice. also, sorry bro, this video isnt it. the 04 pistons had no stars and all defense. the celtics have all the stars, all offense, and also good defense. comparing those is ridiculous. the celtics combined have more all star appearances than the 2017 warriors had. channel started at a 10/10 with whatever video was the first here, but it quickly settled into a very very mid one. sorry to be so harsh.

Not a good comparison when you start looking at stats, and on paper, Pistons were a great team but the Celtics today would smoke most competition at that level. Pistons may have stopped Shaq and Kobe, but the game was a lot different 20 years ago. Watching Shaq try to guard KP at the 3pt line would definitely be a sight to see but too bad that’s not a universe we live in. Also can’t agree with this because the Pistons surprised people when they made that jump, then continued to be in eastern conference finals for a number of years post-championship. The Celtics are the opposite. Ever since Tatums’ rookie season, he’s had the pressure to lead Boston to the teams 18th championship. Boston has been competitive for awhile now. Overall just not a very accurate comparison. The pistons never had those expectations of getting that far, their franchise had been dismal ever since the Bulls era began. The Boston Celtics have the most championships of any professional sports team ever, the expectations are never anything above or below the goal, and that’s winning. The expectations were completely different when you compare these two teams, that’s ultimately where there’s just a big disconnect here.
