Buick has had some sharp looking cars over the last 5 years or so, some duds, but some truly underappreciated vehicles. I still think a satin metallic Buick enclave last gen is quite elegant and sporty looking. As far as power, they have cars on both spectrums... 2018/2019 buick lacrosse v6 is an extremely potent fwd sedan and the 2018+ Enclave is quite peppy even if mellow. Many newly designed cross overs, hatche backs, and mini uts have stepped away from "upright rear glass", as those definitely need wipers. Problem with the rear wiper blade was motorists complaint when they took their vehicle to a full service automated Car Wash that it got damaged in the Car Wash Spining Brush. Now if the Buick Envista had a brow at the top of the rear window that could conceal a rear wiper beneath, it would prevent the wiper arm being exposed over the rear window. Perhaps if the rear window is treated with rainx on a clear day, it might make it easier to repell rain from the surface of the glass, thus increasing visability. Long ago, I remember some cars had a stylish black vented rear window cover which reduced glare and rain drops; gave the driver increased visabilty. I also saw it on the Lotus Europa. Gave the car an armoured mad max style. Also reduced interior overheating when the car is parked exposed to direct sun light.

Really wish there was different engine options. Like a hybrid option. Ideally less boring than 9.6 0-60.

it is sticking with the price even with the new labor contract... looks great.

I think it's a beautiful exterior design. The interior looks pretty nice, but a bit cheap and tacky in some elements. My only real gripe is the tiny, low-mounted brake lights. They're not that noticeable. I drove behind one today in city traffic. What makes the issue worse is that they also serve as the red turn signals. So when you've got your signal on, there is only 1 brake light bulb illuminated way down low on the bumper the size of a fist. They really need to correct this.

Honestly might get this after it gets an engine upgrade

That won't happen ~~ Buick is going total electric !

The exterior is fire! Saw it on the highway and had to look it up. Oh but the interior... it's very underwhelming!! We can appreciate the effort tho Buick. Great price point!

Its a genuinely nice car. I'm impressed, not a fan of chevy stuff. But, good job on the design.

It's not a Chevy. Read the name of the title.

Buick is sticking to the price too. It’s good to see something attractive, and good on gas for 25-31,000$

I hear all your gripes about material quality, crude graphics, hard plastics, the horn...totally agree, but this is a dirt cheap car produced by a premium brand. They obviously had to cut corners from bumper to bumper to get it to its dirt-cheap price point.

They should have put their old 3.1 liter V6 in this car paired with a more modern transmission. The mileage wouldn't have been that bad around town and the thruway mileage would be about the same.

You can't argue with the value that is represented here...when the average new car transaction is $45k+, cars like these should be flying of the lot.
