They will have it available on the 2025 but that will also be a long wait to get those produced as well as they are behind on production. We were really bummed as we wanted the sunroof but it's not a necessity that we needed but again really frustrated that we could not get that option added to our Traverse.

And before someone goes “well, I have a traverse 3.6 with 200k and it runs just fine!” I know. I drove a Malibu with that engine and 250k miles in driving school. @jraheemjefcoat4293 ай бұрын
@gabepena2689 Yeah, for now. Keep in mind that v6 engines are going away due to government emission regulations. But most people spend time in the interior. Palisade and Telluride have V6 and not rocking a pathetic small infotainment screen. Honda has a 12-inch screen on the new Accord, but not on their flagship Pilot? Make it make sense! They had all the opportunity to upgrade the screen on their 2025 "refresh", but didn't. Honda has fallen behind from the competition, and it shows all throughout the lineup. I'm not a Honda hater. I used to love Honda. But they are being too complacent. Especially with the styling of the AARP special, Honda Accord. It's the most boring looking sedan I have ever seen since the Ford Taurus.
@gabepena26893 ай бұрын
Well I know Honda just redesigned the V6 to meet emissions for next 10 years. I just think you can't just look at an infotainment as one of the top features, especially if you are long to keep 3 yrs plus. When I bought my previous vehicle three years ago it had the best infotainment out there and now it looks outdated
@jraheemjefcoat4293 ай бұрын
@gabepena2689 I get what you're saying. But my gripe with Honda is not that they are not competitive enough. Again, why does the Accord have a 12 inch screen and the Pilot doesn't? I don't know what age demographics you are in, but the younger Millenials and Gen Zs are very tech forward. There's no "wow" factor with Pilot. Honda is catering more to their loyal mature customers but not doing anything to sway younger families to buy their vehicles. My cousin is a salesman for Honda. He told me that a younger couple, probably in their late 20s and early 30s, didn't purchase the Pilot because they feel that the interior feels a little dated and the screen was too small (7inches) on the base Sport trim. Then, he sold it to a middle-aged couple who just traded in their 2018 Pilot. My thing is Honda had plenty of opportunities to update the screen. But choose not to. A big omission on their part, especially since their is no hybrid option. The next generation, 2026 Palisade and Telluride, will have a hybrid powertain option. Which is now lagging behind the competition. Honda has always been a day late and a dollar short.
@gabepena26893 ай бұрын
I mean I'll be 100% Honest, it's not competitive enough in the tech department. I'm 32 and I own a 2024 Sport. When I was shopping I test drove Pathfinder, Telluride, Ascent, and Grand Highlander. Looks are subjective, so I won't comment on that, what Honda did very well was cargo space, third row space, storage and drive quality ( pilot is big but feels and handles like a smaller vehicle). That being said the only other one that could match all of that was the Grand Highlander but the turbo in the Highlander just didn't feel as smooth and felt overworked when pushed compared to the Pilot. Was it disappointing that the pilot didn't have a larger infotainment, yes absolutely but car play works well and overall tech is easy to use, and the pilot does everything else so we'll that it didn't mind it. Also as someone who takes long road trips driving at night I don't mind the smaller screen, the large screens can be a huge distraction driving in dark highways.

What is the point of electric seats if there is no memory function? You have to upgrade to the top of the line for that feature? Car companies are becoming petty

Did you buy it, too? The headrest of the third row seat can not be put, put down will get stuck in the second row seat there, to wait for the recall, every car is like this, the official website says that there is no parts and other notice [laughing cry R]

it looks so much better than the previous generation. but if they are going to have a 4 cylinder turbo they should've made it a hybrid.

Direct injection ,active fuel management , high pressure pumps, more gears. High spool turbos. Belt driven oil pumps. More ways for everything to go wrong. Would not purchase anything made after 2013.

It’s beautiful. The Traverse team did a damn good job for a segment so crowded. Now here comes the cheap crowd that should be shopping for a Chevrolet Trax complaining about the price of this Traverse Z71 in 1, 2, 3…

I would buy a Honda Pilot so it’ll last over 100k miles 😁

I enjoy your videos all the time and I really like the Z71 Stardust color but when I went to the website, it does not allow you to pick Stardust color for the Z71, is the vehicle you’re driving just a oddity or a demo and they’re just not offering that color and a Z71?
