I have the pre-production Black Ops version of this board, and I absolutely love it. I've ridden it everywhere from Commierado to Mt Baker. Does everything well.

My initial review after riding it. I allowed 3-4 days riding to break it in before taking it into park. Did an edge bevel to lift up the edges a smidge, then couple file swipes at 45, wax and rounded with a stone. Holds an edge and speed very well. Good for jumps (3's - 7's), I need to ride it more before hitting over 30 but seems to be doing well at 25-30' so far. Struggling to get it going on jibs but then again I got the 158 (5'11 185lbs) so it might be a bit too much board for rails and I didn't really get it for that.

Love your content and it was influential in trying out the '21 juggernaut... which was one of my favorite boards I have ever ridden. Unfortunately, I snapped it recently and am wondering if you have thoughts on buying the new version or if I should aim for a board more similar to the old juggernaut? I would love a little more flex in pressing but I LOVED the ability to charge through the chunder as needed ... 5'9 180 was on the 155 '21jug

I'd say just get another one.

Been snowboarding since I was young, but never got too deep in to jumps or tricks but been able to go down blacks since I was very young. Have been trying to get into more freestyle type riding, like jumps, presses, butters, not as much rails. I’m about 6’2 220 with a 13 shoe and was considering the Rossi juggernaut 161W or the Jibsaw in 162W. In listening to your reviews it seems as the the jibsaw would be better for butters and presses, while the juggernaut better for jumps and general use. Do you have any advice on which board you think would be better? Or some other suggestions.

Looking at making a switch from the Templar to this. Don't ride groomers too often but really enjoy the trees, ungroomed runs, and the steeps would this be a good board?

Do you need a true twin because it sounds like a Sashimi would suit your riding style so much better.

It’s just a beefed up jibsaw right? Love my jibsaw but after a couple hundred days on the hill it’s a bit too soft. Might go for a bit more beef on the next twin.

No. It's its own thing.

That was the Jibsaw HD/Elite- even then the difference in feel between the Elite and the regular jibsaw was massive. I have one of each from 2017 and 2019 respectively and they are completely different boards. The HD softened up into a good all round all mountain twin. The regular one was a soft noodle out of the box. I'd be interested to see how the Juggernaut and Jibsaw relate in 2023/24 seeing as they seem to keep beefing up the regular one and softening the stiffer option. Hopefully a review coming soon?
@Nick-zy9tx Жыл бұрын
@@MattArnstein-sg5ze Hi Matt, the juggernaut is quite abit different than jibsaw or jibsaw hd/ elite series. The juggernaut has more camber than the jibsaw HD/ elite, no magnetraction and quite a bit lighter than the HD that I own. I'd suggest setting your expectations to more along the lines of, this board was made for the team riders at Rossi, that wanted something high end freestyle, mostly camber and no magnetraction. I haven't taken my juggernaut out yet (lots of rocks still), but just judging by these things alone and looking at the board, I would conclude: Juggernaut is more precise/ poppy, slightly worse in pow, lighter weight, less forgiving/ more catchy, worse in ice (no magnetraction) and about the same stiffness as the HD/elite.

I’ve been riding a Lago Double Barrel 155cm for 4 years, I’ve now grown to 5’11 at 215lbs and want to upgrade. When I upgrade do you suggest 159 or 162? I ride park the most out of anything but sometimes enjoy all-mountain riding so I’ve found the double barrel to be perfect for me, and I want to try something new. Do you think I’m better off getting a new Double Barrel, a Nitro Team, or a Nitro T1?

It's a different board on paper. No magnetraction (I have one and can't see any additional contact points) and more camber than the HD. Much lighter than the HD.
