15:27 instead of ...Be6, it must have been tempting to play Nd7-Nf8 to achieve your strategic objectives. Maybe what you played is better, having transposed and all, but I used to love your recaps when they went into principled variations and whether they were refuted or not :)

Interesting games & analysis. Kostya in this viewer’s humble opinion you’d be well served by finding a different way to meet the Rossolimo. perhaps g6 or e6?

@ Upside: Finding a set up to successfully fight the Rossolimo is totally within your wheelhouse. When do, please share as for us non-IMs it isn’t easy!

thanks kostya! and jesse and david too ...quick (relatively) question...im fairly casual, but always looking to improve. my tactical vision is getting better, but i often see tactics AFTER making the wrong move. how do i stay mindful and patient enough to not miss these? are there exercises (besides puzzles) that help? is it mainly practice?

Slow down when you play, using your time is the best way to reduce blunders

Quite literally sit on your hands if you need to. Touch the mouse when you have selected your candidate move.

Hello, the automatic dubbing is activated by default on your channel so if your international viewers do not want to hear some AI voice over your original audio track, they have to change the setting every time manually since YT doesn’t allow viewers to deactivate it and only content creators can do it, it is extremely frustrating to hear the AI dub and am forced to change back the language every single time, more accessibility is not bad per se obviously but it should be not by default and should be the other way around

Even if you end up recording this simultaneously, it's probably better for the algorithm to release it as several parts. Maybe for a 9 round tournament, 3 parts? 1-3, 4-6, and 7-9?

Yes, even better to do 9 separate vids. I'd rather keep it as one vid though 🙂

I hate to point out the obvious, but if you're not going to fight because of double rounds, losses and whatever, maybe you should simply not play those double round tournaments and save your money and time for the "real thing"

Most of my tournaments in 2024 were single round events

Kostya I think you need more confidence in your positions and yourself.
