For the Perfect Dark reboot, if I don't see a fully comprehensive offline multiplayer suite at LEAST akin to what we got in Perfect Dark Zero, then I will scream for blood. And I'm NOT going to accept any lame-ass """AAA""" excuses either like, "Oh, we didn't know that's what fans wanted." Fuck you. If you truly didn't know, then you had NO FUCKING BUSINESS making the Perfect Dark reboot. All that said, I would also ironically accept that they not ship any MP at all but made sure the campaign didn't need any internet connection and was complete at launch. I would literally rather they not include any MP at all rather than see them fuck it up just like how they fucked up Halo. Also, on a side-note, fuck that texture-streaming excuse for Call of Duty 6. Biggest Starfield issue for me, the only real actual or close-to dealbreaker, is the change from huge handcrafted dense open worlds with tons of points of interest, to this segmented multitude of empty instances with 5-10 minutes of point of interests apart. Nobody is asking for another Daggerfall from Bethesda in place of their TES/fallout formula, for the minority who want more Daggerfall, they now have Wayward Realms (which I'm interested in but as an addition to BGS games, not a replacement for).

The showcase was so good that it had me worried when thinking of the Gamepass effect, the chances of some good titles coming out but still have development teams shut down is not 0, raw sales for games are gonna be horrendous since why buy them when Gamepass has it? If the Gamepass drains more money from Microsoft then i definitely can expect them to make smaller games, wouldn't be surprised if they did a Ubisoft move and add a Call Of Duty subscription throughout Black Ops 6 or start increasing the Gamepass price without letting us know.

As great as the new Doom game will be, im disappointed they decided to do another Doom instead of giving Quake some much needed love. Especially since the ending in the DLC implied he was being put back to rest for a while... I just hope they actually do proper multiplayer this time and add mod support at launch. Doom Eternal only felt like 1/3rd of a Doom game because it lacked those things

It's good to hear some optimism. I'm someone who grew up on Nintendo, then for Christmas in the very early 2000's asked for a GameCube but got the original xbox instead. So I went to circuit City and saw this game that looked cool enough and took it home not knowing anything about it. It was Morrowind. Since then I have owned some nintendo stuff, ds, 3ds, switch and every xbox. I now have a series x. I don't have anything against Sony, honestly if I could justify having both I would but I also have a PC that's cost more than any of them. Why not just buy Sony, well it's a whole history of ups and downs for both companies and I have spent hundreds, thousands of hours on xbox consoles. But lately they haven't been winning any popularity contests. So it may be silly but it's nice to hear, not as a fanboy but as someone who has given lots of time and money to Microsoft. Lots of good memories though, and I do get quite a bit of fun from game pass. I pay for it of course, but I've recently played through another crabs treasure, dead island 2, I just started control, and am gonna download lords of the fallen, not to mention many other smaller games that I would probably not have bought just to test out. Games like boltgun, astroneer, firewatch, and superluminal and if I remember correctly I first played outer wilds on game pass and it's one of my favorite gaming experiences of all time

I find it strange that this trailer was shown at an Xbox event and not Playstation? Even though this new remake of MGS3 is multi platform, I think it still resonates mostly with the older Playstation crowd like myself who grew up playing it on Playstation.

Perfect dark the original was basically a very supped up golden eye, my friends and I preferred it to golden eye, had better cooler guns, dual wielding before dual wielding was a thing, incredible stat tracking for its era, and looked better. Honestly it doesnt do anything for fps/shooters other newers games havent essentialy taken and leveld up in some way. For its time tho it was top tier.
