The #BMW2SeriesGranCoupe has been the entry-level 4-door for #BMW for the last few years and while the original model looked a little awkward and offensive, for 2025, the #M235GranCoupe gets a sleeker and more grown-up vibe with a much more tech focused cabin. Power figures are also up this year and even though the #2SeriesGranCoupe continues to be built on the FWD Mini platform, it gives you a driving feel that is worthy of the BMW badge.

Base msrp is around $50k, same as an M240i. Sure, they might be in a different class (even if both are considered subcompact), but the sacrifice of two doors is well worth it imo. 2 series coupe has just as much room in the backseat if i’m not mistaken

I much rather take my wife's 2019 Countryman S down the tight narrow single lane twisty mountain road behind our house than my G80 M3 when the M3 is better on higher speed canyons.

I have a 2021 and love it. Bought it off of lease used with only 19k miles. An Escott or Kia Forte doesn't go 0 to 60 in 4.5 seconds and handle as good as this. I easily average 35 mpg.

To me it looks cheap, has useless backseats, and lacks 2 extra cylinders while being hindered in its driving dynamics because of its fwd architecture. Just doesn’t seem worth it.

Mine is 2022 kia stinger gt elite in red interior here in Saskatchewan Canada $54 thousand Canadian money. Hatchback awd I think more better in practical daily driven. 0 to 60 4.7 second in stock bone. Crazy to me that my 2023 Arteon has nearly identical power numbers (12 less HP, which you can easily get back with an upgraded intake, never mind a tune) and performance (0-60, fuel economy) and I got it lightly used (8K miles) for $37K. If this was in the same state (used with around 8K miles) it would be what, $57K? Ain't no way there's 20 thousand dollars more worth of car here.

The 60K price tag must be for the “driving experience” mostly because they don’t really offer too many interior extras for being a luxury brand. My 2018 Accord Touring may be slower by a whopping whole second on the uptake, but it looks a hella lot better, offers more bells and whistles, and cost me 20K less to procure! So, no thanks, BMW !!
