I don’t think anything Toyota has done truck wise since 2021 is worth the price

I have a 24 Tundra and I did just the TRD intake and the TRD dual tip exhaust. I spent $1600 roughly versus the $3400 for the TRD performance package.

24 1794 LE, I just got the TRD Performance Pkg CAÍ and ECU Reprogram for just under $800, I got a great discount on the CAI (airbox) and $169 for reprogramming. Did get the fuel door sticker, bad the badge is on back order. I already had a Dirty Industries Exhaust, so didn’t need the Toyota Exhaust. It’s all Toyota Warranty
@kevinrader34852 ай бұрын
For $3400.00, no, not worth it. Plus will need to run premium, or at least that's what the sticker that's part of the package says.
@JimmyMakingitwork2 ай бұрын
I'd probably get the exhaust by itself, with a tune. But not to worried about it with the power the truck makes now being plenty for me.
@s.centralkeystone5582 ай бұрын
I'm betting it will show up on regular i-Force as we move into 2025. Pretty cool that Toyota is offering this and a factory lift and either can show up on the lot seemingly at random. For me, I'd be more interested in the Performance Package than the lift.

Caspar Milquetoast's improved breathing is still competing with V8 engined Fords, Chevy's, Dodges and even Titans. My preference would be the aluminum-bodied 2025 Raptor F150 using the supercharged 5.2-liter V-8 from the Shelby GT500, tuned for 720 horsepower and 640 pound-feet of torque. I own a supercharged V8 in a Z06; 420 ft. lbs of the superchargers 650 ft. lbs total torque is available at idle. No spooling up some hamster exercise-wheeled pair of turbos; the supercharger runs cool with no use for exhaust gases, or heavy batteries for 'lectric helper motors. And at the Tundra "Performance" prices, don't need to save a mpg to be able to afford either truck. Did all the real truck guys at Toyota America retire en masse after they finished the 2021 Tundra? The TRD black chrome dual exhaust was only a $1199 option on my 2021. I love my Tundra V8, but should I have to replace, it won't be for another Tundra, unless it is a V8. Still some truck guys left at the other auto makers.
@TundraDude342 ай бұрын
I filmed a Raptor R V8 a few weeks back at a dealer walk. It was used for $117k. I think instead of the engine wars, we need to find a way to bring these truck prices back to earth.

AFE cold intakes .. with Alum- hot charge pipes $700. Does the job just fine...Way cheaper. For my 2024 1794. NO issues.. over 12K miles.. No harm to the truck..

i have a 23' trundra 1794 hybrid stock. should I add trd offroad package + performace package, or should I just trade mine in and get another one with those packages... which makes more sense?
@zacharyfranklin16222 ай бұрын
Seems ideal for the iforce to give u additional HP as a concept not so much for the Max hybrid . As a desert prefrunner the pro will definitely be a beast with this . But I would like to see them upgrade the already awesome Fox suspension to afford even better handling dynamics , for the increase in power .

No matter what Toyota put in to their Tundra, it is over price.

All trucks are well over priced. The market is screwed. I bought a 24 tundra. Spent 60k. I feel like that should be the high end but unfortunately it’s not.

The TRD performance package is the intakes, exhaust, tune and 91 octane fuel. You would need that to get a similar performance number

I don’t believe it’s worth the extra $3,400. The iForceMax engine is fast enough.

Sport mode with the plan Jane V6 engine is fast enough. But it’s to quite like a mouse on Christmas Eve. Truck tires just going to peel out anyways. I got to say I love more options though. TOYOTA as I’m jumping in the air.

Something else I found on the build and price tool that hopefully is a glitch. When you build a platinum TRD package there is no TRD running board selection but there is for limited

I have a 2024 TRD Pro with the TRD Performance Package and my TRD Performance badge is on the bottom right hand side of the tailgate. I guess Toyota moved it since they are now putting the iforcemax badge on the bottom right.

That is correct! Whats your thoughts on the performance package?

@@TundraDude34 Excellent sounding exhaust with a nice little boost. I am okay with the $3400 price tag but all the additional manufactured or distributor add-ons take the price to a very high $ amount.

I think this package would have been out this spring like they said had they not had the engine issues. The only reason it’s out on the Pro is because it’s the only model not on the recall.

I'll say the 0-60 of that new dodge 1500 is below 5 seconds for the TTV6. Thats pretty nasty run. The ones with 540 or so hp, those things are gonna really haul, long term who knows, but it make me think. That is very impressive.
@joemcgee29182 ай бұрын
It has to make the truck significantly faster. I would have to see a bunch of different people testing in the real world with draggy results ect before I even consider it. And doesn't the PRO already come with a slightly higher flowing exhaust?
