Yes, you pronounced Argonauts correctly. We actually pronounce BMO as Bee-Moe, and BMO Field is actually expanding its capability for the World Cup because its currently capacity is not big enough per FIFA's requirements. It's current capacity is roughly 40,000 and it's being expanded to 45,000 for the World Cup. One of the images you used is a rendering of said expansion.

Cowboys Stadium is probably the best designed stadium in America. Pains me to admit that as a Giants fan but that place is beautiful. Ive always loved how Metlife has a view of the NYC skyline in the backdrop though. Levi’s is in Santa Clara and the San Jose Earthquakes play there from time to time. Playing LAFC there this weekend (4/6/23) as an example. Usually when PayPal park is too small for the demand.

Where the US Stadiums were concerned I often found it easier to remember that California and Texas both have 2 host cities. CA: LA & San Fran TX: Dallas & Houston Add in Seattle up in the North West USA and there you have 5 out of the 11. The remaining 6 includes: Boston, Philadelphia, New York City, Atlanta, Miami and Kansas City.

RaymondJames Stadium in Tampa, FL should also be considered. Home of the former Tampa Bay Mutiny MSL and we have hosted several big football games. Capacity is over 75,000 and is natural grass.

It'll be in Metlife Stadium. It was selected due to the immediate areas for huge fan zones to watch the game. It has the public transit to get fans around & the New York/New Jersey area also has tourist attractions for the fans to see/visit while they're there. But if you ask me, it's also likely due to the timezone Metlife Stadium is in, the Eastern US Timezone. Which is 5-6 hours behind European time. So, if Kick off was set for 3pm Eastern US time, it'll be 8-9pm European time. Which is the usual time for European games are played. For South America, the time zones are fairly close to Eastern US. And given that Europe & South America are the sport's biggest audiences, having the Final at Metlife Stadium would be best to get as many viewers as possible.

According to FIFA regulations, the stadium hosting a final must have a seating minimum of 80,000. There's only 2 stadiums that have that capacity. AT & T stadium in Dallas and Met Life Stadium in New Jersey. Most likely the final will be held in NJ

I think Canada should too. That is a country that would never spend billions to renovate its stadiums just for this tournament because they are smart and democratic snough to not do that. Mexico on the other hand should not host. The Azteca is not hosting the final, and they deserce to be the center of a tournament they would host with a few ither countries. Vegas and New Orleans were contacted but were eventually cut before the bid was submitted; New Orleans was cut earlier and Vegas was cut while the stadium was being built. California and Texas are the 2 biggest state economies in the US. The demand for 2 venues is there.

It’s up against MetLife in New York, which has been the favorite for a while and has enough seats for the final (82,500 vs 70,240). SoFi is an absolutely awesome, awe-inspiring venue but another factor against it is that the Rose Bowl hosted the final in 94, so FIFA may give New York it’s chance

Sorry, but I just have to reply to Tact's petty little comment, as he always has openly been so jealous of Canada, after they dominated in the qualifiers last year, which, let's be honest, was the only legitimate tournament that had all of the best players playing in 2022. Canada beat both the U.S. & Mexico & ended up #1, with by far the best goal differential. Tact even had to bring up Canada's poor 1986 performance in the world cup... Really!!!! That is like pointing out the fact that the U.S. didn't even make it to the World cup in 1986. As a matter of fact, the U.S. didn't make it to the World cup, even once, between 1934 & 1950 & again between 1950 & 1990... But who cares about ancient history right? Then Tact said that Canada was one of the worst teams in the 2022 World cup; but he purposely failed to mention that Canada was unfortunately in the Group of death. Canada totally outplayed Belgium, the 2nd best FIFA ranked team in the World before that; but unfortunately Canada lost 1-0 and didn't get the bounces. Canada legitimately lost convincingly to Croatia 4-1 in their 2nd match & were outplayed; but hey, Croatia made it to the semi-finals & made it to the finals 4 years earlier, in the previous World cup in 2018. Canada then lost a close game 2-1 to Morocco, who, by the way, were also a semi-finalist. There is some small consolation in Canada finishing the loss against Morocco with 1.39 xG to Morocco’s 0.43. Canada owned a better xG than Belgium in their game, too. So, while statistically Canada finished 2nd last with 3 losses, in fact Canada punched well above their weight in 2 of their 3 matches against much higher ranked teams & I almost guarantee you that had the U.S. been in that group instead of Canada, they would have fared no better & probably worse, given how poorly they played in the qualifiers, tying 4th place Costa Rica in points. Either way, I look forward to the Nations League semifinals & finals & the 2026 World cup & all of the tournaments in between, even though the U.S. will have a huge homefield advantage for most of them, just as they will for most of the 2026 World cup. Canadians believe that Canada will perform very well in all of those tournaments. Hopefully that is not seen as arrogance; but rather, as a strong confidence that our team will be extremely competitive and have a very good chance of winning, every time they step on the pitch.

Morocco didn't even play star player Chelsea FC midfielder Hakim Ziyech, who was not injured and he was at the stadium. Guess Morocco didn't take that match too seriously... Canada was missing several of their better players. Not to mention the fact that once again the U S. had a huge home field advantage. 'The Qualifiers' was by far the best tournament to judge CONCACAF teams, as the best players all played, unless injured & the matches were fairly played in all countries.
