I am so tired that I misread the title and thought you have already completed 25 books in 2025 and I fell into fast-track depression, but than I re-read the title again and thankfully...I am not doing that bad :D Thanks for the great video, btw. Rooting for you to read ACOWAR! It was 5 stars for me and I loved the audiobook 😍 Yesss to Fredrik Backman, he’s a favorite of mine for sure! Beartown is my absolute favorite and I also loved Anxious People, but Ove was good too. His books are sad and emotional but so funny at the same time! I’m also very intimidated by Babel but would like to get to it at some point. I loved Remarkably Bright Creatures, such a wholesome book ❤️ Some of my priority books for this year include Hello Beautiful, the new Emily Wilde book, Mistborn, The Naturals, The Count of Monte Cristo, Blue Sisters, Where the Dark Stands Still, Leviathan Wakes, and the new Emily Henry and Abby Jimenez books!

i think from this list i would most like to see you read Red Rising first. i am currently reading it, and not to discourage you, but you're valid to be intimidated 😅 you don't have to be a sci-fi/space expert by any means, it is not a difficult read in that regard, but i'm finding it similar to fantasy books where it takes a while to really get familiar with the world and politics and whatnot. im currently only about 50% in but it's amazing so far! it is pretty dark and emotional - the kind i think you might enjoy. so curious to see what you think about it. also very excited to see your journey with Gone come to an end! i hope the finale doesn't disappoint, you deserve a happy ending 😆 i believe there is a sequel(?) triology; Monster, Villain, and Hero. do you plan on reading them as well? looking forward to the reading vlogs of these books - and whatever else you might read! happy reading! 💕

As a reader who started with Bride to get into Ali Hazelwood, I would say don't start with it and start with Love, Theoretically lol. I actually haven't read Love, Theoretically yet but read Bride and didn't really like it that much. But now I've read 3 of her books and one short story, and I feel like she's an author that gets better with the more books I read from her. Also really want to get into Frederick Backman as well just haven't gotten to any of his books yet. And hope you get to A Court Of Wings and Ruin bc it's my absolute favorite book in the series. Ooooh we have 3 books we both want to read this year: Eileen, Intermezzo and Out on a limb. This year I'm focusing on the book I own already and try to read more than I buy. Also, I'm from the Netherlands, but I saw that AbeBooks sell the vintage gothic editions you were talking about. At least I saw Love by Toni Morrison and Sleep Donation by Karen Russell. Don't know if it's a reliable seller, but thought I should let you know. Good luck with the 25 in 2025❤

I’ll give my vote to Backman 😊 You’ll cry laugh and probably want to read more from him, so might as well get started! There’s a new release called My Friends coming out this summer, sounds like something you might like, even if the grumpy old man turns out not to be your thing. I also think you’d like Beartown, but that’s a bit chunkier, so Ove is a good place to start! I also want to read Red Rising at some point and am also scared. Bunny is on my list for this years as is Boy Parts.

As you like Gone I think you'll like Red Rising. It's not really sci fi, more like the hunger games- TECHNICALLY sci fi, but reads more like a dystopia or fantasy

I've read three Ali Hazelwood books (dnf'd one tho) and only liked the love hypothesis. I think it's the one the one she is most known for. The one I dnf'd was actually love theoretically. Couldn't stand the characters. They just seemed too planned out 😅 but I thought the love hypothesis is fun, super cliche but fun. (this coming from a non romance reader)

Hi you haven’t heard from me before I usually don’t comment but was just wondering have you read Madwoman by Chelsea Bieker or Ghosted by Jenn Ashworth. I’d check your trigger warnings for both but they are thrillers that to me read as a lot more like literary fiction. I gave them both really high ratings and reading them both thought of you. Sorry if that makes no sense whatsoever.

I read Sorrow and Bliss and I gave it 5 stars. I also read Everyone I Know is Dying and gave it 2 stars. They both fit in the type of book of a woman who is struggling with themselves but Sorrow and Bliss is written so well and interestingly. That was one of my major gripes with Everyone I Know is Dying; the writing wasn't as amazing as it needed to be for me to connect to the narrator and mad me really dislike her.
