The 2CV Drive - Original video

This is the almost original video where the earlier The 2CV Drive video is made from. I had to cut it a little since original video was 16minutes and youtube allows only 10minutes

Original air filter case is replaced with free flow air filter that causes intake noise to be much louder especially when the second throat opens..

@2cvnutter It's 602cc with free air filter making the air induction sound(?) louder than with stock air filter. You can here when the second throat opens.

Wowww!! Great car! I've got a 1979 Dyane with the same engine and they sound great, just like yours!!! I love to keep a bit every speed, not a lot of time but i love listening to its sound in all its ways, in low, medium or high r.p.m. And this engine can be kept at high rpm's without making it suffer... So it doesn't mind after all. I love this little Citroën and at the same time they go on disapearing is nice to see people still ejoying them!! The BEST machine ever made!

I never understood the three orange dots on the speedo. Someone told that they are the points were you're supposed to change gear. I miss my red Y reg 2cv6 Spécial.

One of my biggest regrets is selling my 2CV when I did, 15 years ago. Wish I had kept it. (And he is keeping it in 3rd because they are supposed to be driven flat out - at least, that is what I was told when I had mine).

Originally it was 2cv4, but in engine/transmission has been replaced from 2cv6 in early 80s. Speedometer has been taken even older 2cv. Maybe 50s or 60s 2cv, I'm not sure since previous owner did that.

You have to keep the gearbox of the 2cv 4?

Swap was done before I got the car, but the gearbox was also from 2cv6 with disc brakes. I've also sold the car few years ago.

Yes, it moved quite nicely. I had another hobby car so had to get rid of from 2CV.
