You didn’t mention having a high yield savings account. An account just for spending money might help with over spending so great tip!

I just found your KZbin the other day and still want to go through and binge your vids but haven't had the time. Soo happy I found you, you really spoke to me in that vid about how you got rid of your lazy girl era. I needed to find you for a reason. I especially appreciate that you're POC and sharing your financial journey, there's not a lot of creators who are POC doing so, so I definitely appreciate you. Love your aesthetic btw!

Great adivce. The only account that I do not have is a buffer account. I just put the extra money in my bills account.

I agree with the separate accounts for bills and spending.

I got a debit card for my bills account simply because some auto pay be wanting you to put a card in instead of routing and account number. But I love the videos i already got the 3 accounts for the exact same usage and im glad im not the only one with this mindset!

Which account does your paycheck go to? I have an account for my paycheck ONLY. Buffer, bills, mortgage, and month ahead

my advice would be to have an income account separate from your other accounts

I love this! I have separate containers or accounts for different purposes. For example, I have a Bills Checking, Budget Checking, to Emergency Savings. :)

I would suggest to those who tend to get dinged with overdraft to go to a bank that doesn’t charge nsf fees. There are some out there.
