Best part of Barricade bumpers is the "aged" look you get when the powder coat peels off shortly after you install it and it rusts up.

Yeah, FB brought up my memories from 5 years ago. The memory was of me installing my brand new Barricade bumper with powder coat, that flaked off within 2 years and now is rusted out. Wtf!?!?

The stock TJ bumper is great, just have to lose the plastic milk jug ends, put caps on and hit it with a couple coats of high quality bedliner or Line X, upgrade the fog lights and you have one excellent steel bumper. Can't say that about the the jk or jl.

The best one......is the one I made! 3"x 6"x 3/16" w 1/4" thick stinger that is underslung and gusetted. I call it the destroyer

Agreed, I have a friend who has built mine for my last few. Other than weight of the 1st one, I have no complaints. He went a little overboard wanting to make sure it was strong enough. But in his defense, that truck is long gone. But the bumper he built is still rolling down the road on another truck.

@@robertfoote3255 understandable I grew up in OH back then it was part of the snowbelt not so much now. Most aftermarket wouldn't standup to their intended purpose. So if one has the ability or friends with it. They are much better off to fab one up.

Nice bumper, but why not put some lights into it that actually put some light on the ground ahead of you to see with. Make them better that the factory lights which suck. Only good thing about them is then you got the wiring there to put something in that actually works.

Looks looks looks. How about the weight. Why pay for lights if they do nothing but look good. A lot of jeepers are posers. Will it accept a tow bar how heavy is it will the finish come off in a year?

They all LOOK LIKE SHIT -- Sorry Just one persons opinion but thats My opinion. Looks like LIGHT WEIGHT material and not worth spending the extra CASH for something that wont do a better job protecting your jeep -- BUT the factory Bumpers really do NOT do a good job at all if you do any off roading.
