Definitely the 3 best. I have CW and Baltic, and would love to try Maen. Runner ups could be Traska, Farer and Monta. I’d actually swap Maen for Monta in the top 3😉Great video!

Wow - thanks, Traska is a great shout! Personally I kind of find Monta to be a bit pricey, but they look great - tested?

Mate the bracelets on those Maens look AMAZING!!! And the watches themselves look incredible- except for one thing: They are way too small for my wrist and eyes! They would disappear and I'd have difficulty in appreciating the intricacies of their beauty due to their sizing (or rather lack thereof). I've tried a Speedmaster reduced (39m) and it was just too small. In fact I actually owned a triple date speedmaster chrono and had to sell it as it was just too small for me. If Maen released a 42mm or 41mm I'd be keen. Same goes for Baltic. Have you checked out Straton? Or Farer?
@cohan.forcer Жыл бұрын
The bracelets are crazy good, they recently released jubilee as well. But yes, they are tailored for us with lesser wrists :) Straton? never. Googling NOW. Thanks!

You mention Hamilton did not make it to your list of micro brands. How do you classify them as a micro brand? They were an American company that started in 1892 and then became part of the Swatch Group.

Good choices. I have a Christopher Ward Sandhurst (series one) and a Sealander GMT which are excellent, am very tempted by Main--keep nearly ordering their upcoming GMT. Have long been a fan of Baltic, but never pulled the trigger--ended up getting a Vaer Diver instead, with which I am well pleased. Agree Traska, RZE, Lorier are also excellent though CW is a step above the others mentioned in my opinion.

I don’t consider any of these 3 as micro brands… they are more like junior varsity brands!.. if Maen made a 42 or 43 mm watch, I’d buy one. Wise, SWC and Nodus…

They ain't never catching up with the premium rivals pricing but the fact is that the new CW The Twelve 36 is much nicer than many of the "premium" rivals much more expensive watches and its just a mere 1200 dollars

With the hundreds of micro brands now available, it’s quite disappointing to see the same few always touted as “the best”, it’s like always seeing Omega,Tudor,Rolex, it’s getting boring. Sorry to whinge but really it’s just lazy content in my view. Do some research & come up with brands we haven’t seen a million times already.

Hard to believe if you were affluent you will be still buying this instead of a luxury product. These ones are very good but they are not luxury. I will add that several chinese brands are as good quality or better than these ones.

Well you don't know the watch buying demographic then. I own Breitling, Tudor, Omega, Rolex and JLC, but my last two purchases were Christopher Ward and I love them. Might buy a third. Some of those Chinese brands have been getting good by practicing on all those fake Rolexes. Probably made by slave Uyghurs in Xinjiang Province but you do you fam.
