Been a panther fan since 95. My best buddy is a texans fan since their inception. Both of us in Charlotte. Last off-season was epitome of "one of us gonna be winning" And as bad as the Panthers have been. And Panthers missed the QB that led the Texans. Im still happy for my friend and the Texans. Their success helped me deal with my teams failures for sure. Bandwagoned hard with my buddy. And of course we went to the carolina texans game where that was a fluke carolina win.

Brad Holmes has been nothing short of miraculous. Turning around a franchise like the Lions the way he has is something very very few people could do. Sheila, Brad, and Coach Dan have done something amazing.

Lions class can get even better depending on how Brodric Martin, Hendon Hooker, and Colby Sorsdal develop, those three were always more developmental picks and I think can have big impacts when they're ready

When everyone needs good O Line (Sewell), an Edge (Hutch), an Iowa product TE (LaPorta), and a solid RB that's also a really good receiver (Gibbs).

Laporta grew up the town over from mine. Our schools never played but he has always been a freak on the field. Aj Epenesa also grew up in my area he's a great rotational passrusher for Buffalo. There's a few other guys from around here but they bounce around and don't play, let alone ball like an epenesa or laporta. But i always find it crazy hearing you talk about someone from around here.

I liked Epenesa coming out of Iowa and thought he was going to be a solid 6-8 sack player per year for the next 5-6 years when he was drafted Also love hearing stories like this

10:00 Penei Sewell is not only the best olineman in football (yes better than TW) he probably could play rb. I've never seen a 330+ lineman run like he does...its truly incredible to watch. FWIW, all 3 of Detroit draft classes 21, 22, 23, have all been excellent under Holmes/Campbell

You can honestly add another pick the Texans made to the list of potential starters going forward and that would be the center they chose in the sixth round, Jarrett Patterson. He had to step up to start the season when Scott Quessenberry and Juice Scruggs were both sidelines with injuries before the season even began and he did a pretty solid job in the seven games he played prior to also going down with an injury that ended his season. Didn't allow a sack, only committed a single penalty, and I believe he was ranking as one of the better Centers until he got injured. The Texans have really never drafted well in the later rounds until Caserio became the GM and it's honestly mindboggling as a Texans fan to see us pick a guy as late as the sixth round and see them actually contribute and perform like a legitimate NFL player. Finding those gems in later rounds is the best way to stay competitive for a long time and the Texans might actually be one of those teams capable of that for the first time in franchise history.

The Seahawks should've been on here because we hit on Witherspoon and at least had him to help when Woolen sucked, Njigba was great when we needed him, and Zach Charbonnet was good when we needed him. He also had that meme worthy stiff arm in Week 3 which was awesome.

The problem with the Gibbs pick wasn't the Lions offensive line, it was the fact that they moved back to 12 when they had Bijan Robinson right there at 7. Imagine the Lions with Bijan Robinson behind that O-Line. Bijan running behind Sewell for the next 4+ years would've been terrifying.

Among the rookies for Detroit is another potential bombshell, Hendon Hooker, who came as a 3rd rounder due to injury. The man was on track to be a Heisman winner until he was injured, and probably deserved mention in this video. Many in Detroit want to try him over Goff, which I think is ridiculous, but he genuinely could be another CJ and we simply don't know.

It ain’t ridiculous. Paying Goff 40-45 million could spell doom for Detroit. If Detroit can keep their players while paying Hooker a pittance and getting 90% of Goff would be ideal.

No one thought gibbs was bad. It was passing on Carter and already having swift on the roster and just signed Montgomery. The whole thing ended up working out well because they also got an all-pro tight end out of the transaction.

Kudos to those class so far and all the best. There are reasons however why a draft class takes 3 years to evaluate. You never know who will catch up and who will stall if not regress, or, heaven forbid, has the career derailed by injuries.

The Steelers draft class was phenomenal. Broderick Jones + Joey Porter Jr. are studs and Keanu Benton + Nick Herbig were steals who can only get better. I think Darnell Washington can be really good too, he’s already a very good blocker as it is.

I think the final result actually looked *worse* than actual. texans were driving, and had a missed field goal with around 4 min left to play. yes, they probably still wouldve lost, but that missed fg makes it a 1 score game isntead of 2 score game.
