Did we watch the same Eagles game? Saquon had a good game, but to say the Eagles’ offense looked elite is laughable. Every big play came because a defender either slipped or fell down completely. I know everyone is impatient with the never ending rebuild, but we have never actually committed to it. Canales and Morgan seem committed to a rebuild and we need to give them time. Keep in mind Dan Campbell started 1-6 with the Lions in 2022. Regarding Young, there is no choice but to ride with him as the starter. One of two things will happen, he figures it out and we have a franchise QB, or he won't and we will have a high draft pick. The team isn't built well enough to be competitive for the playoffs right now, so starting Dalton isn't going to let us win enough to be worth the lower draft position. If Young doesn't show growth, the team can either think about drafting a replacement, getting a new project (Howell) or a bridge guy and draft a QB in 26. It was week 1, I know it's the annual overreaction week, but let's see where the team is by week 6 and reevaluate.

The windows to throw into are very tight in the NFL and rarely do dudes scream open all game like can be the case in college. It's much more likely that a pass catcher will have a step or a little bit of separation. Also pass catchers will often come open into a little bit of space and its the QBs job to anticipate this open window and time it.

I'm an Eagles fan and while I'm a fan of Jalen Hurts he has things he needs to improve on. He throws interceptions that I just don't think the absolute top tier QB's would throw. He missed AJ Brown wide open in the end zone, then threw it once the defense picked up on it and that resulted in a bad interception. Mahomes for example would never have that happen to him. Now we all know Hurts isn't Mahomes (nobody is especially among current QB's) but I feel like if my Eagles have Superbowl aspirations they will have to compete with the top tier QB's and I'd hate to see those kinds of interceptions (or the fumble) happen when it matters the most. He's a phenomenal player, I have a ton of respect for his game and him as a person, I just feel nervous seeing poor field vision and poor decision making to start the season. I don't want this to be like last year where we do just enough to win a lot of regular season games but have very clear flaws that eventually cost the team in the playoffs. It's one game and I'm not stressing about it yet but I do hope by the end of the season I can feel more confident about his decision making.

Once San Fran took away that receiver, it looked like Rodgers was severely limited. Being the prima donna that he is, he throws to whoever his favorite little receiver is way too often.

Worrying about Burrow and the Bengals is a big overreaction. If you look back over Burrows career and this season was preceded by rehab again you will see his passer rating per month is in September he is a very average 89. In October he jumps up to 98. In November he jumps up to an elite 105. In December he jumps to 111 and in January he is at 113. These are averages for his career. The Bengals have a pretty soft schedule this year. All the bad luck is gone and now, hopefully, we can see him at his potential in 2024. Now even I will say that if more games look like Dallas, he needs gone, but I'm willing to give him more of a fighting chance. @@Pootie_tang97 even in the divisional round and the championship they didn't look the same as in the regular season. They had two weeks of rest and looked out of shape against the Packers who had been playing their asses off for weeks up until that point. They almost let the cowboys beat them in the 2021 and 2022 playoffs and overall just aren't the same in the postseason

Tell me again why this eagles team has no chance? Just 2 years ago they went there and have kept most key players

I like your vids and watch nearly all of them. But can you not say “to blank we go” for every transition. You could say “now talking about blank” or “the blank have been looking” ya know. It just sounds weird hearing the same transition every time

@@soul_ofcereal5462 me that’s why I said it. He could just increase the quality to his vids by not being receptive. So I thought I’d bring it up

I will make this adjustment moving forward. Please be on the lookout for this during the week 2 recap when there are 11-12 transitions in one video alone. Thank you for the honest and constructive feedback

The Packers season being over is another huge over reaction, Love is only out 3 weeks max, and it sounds like Love is doing everything he can’t to possibly play this week, I hope he doesn’t for his own health, but he’ll be back soon. People are acting like we’re fucked once he’s back

My overreaction is that Joe Burrow is done. His wrist will now always be a problem for him and it’ll never be comfortable or right. If anyone can prove me wrong, it’s Joey. Go birds
@soul_ofcereal5462Ай бұрын
The error cinncy made last year was keeping joe in who wasn't 100% in the first 3 weeks games and to which they lost anyways, when they could have played jake browning who proved to be a decent back up. It seems like they need to pull him now or the same thing is bound to happen 2024.
@lathankilbrandАй бұрын
I'm worried about Joe's wrist as well, the short videos that were made available make it clear the wrist is bothering him. I have to say, if he's having issues he shouldn't be playing in the end it could very well turn out just like you said.
