Obviously - poverty is nobody’s objective, i’m clearly not electing for happiness to be found under bridges. I’m firmly upper lower class. Mostly due to the fact I don’t have kids. I’ve been fortunate to be able to buy most things I want due to healthy spending habits. I’ve also experienced from that two things: 1. Being un-fulfilled Realising when purchasing is the exciting part of accumulation, you’re probably trying to fill a hole in yourself. I’ve not come across a luxury purpose that has impacted my life more than a temporary emotional buff. 2. The cost of ownership I went from small personal cars, to company cars to owning a lovely mercedes, back down to a Peugeot 107 - why? The cost of ownership of nice things causes stress and adds less value than it takes away, its not even accidents, sometimes running costs. It cost me 5k a year to run the mercedes, like 400 to run the 107. All this to say, it’s not always how much you make, it’s what you do with it and the wisdom of aging.

That isn’t true God blessed many rich people in the Bible like Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David , Solomon , Boaz etc… It’s the love of money that’s evil not money it’s self it’s all about the heart posture .
