Obviously, this video was created before the season, before Westbrook was unleashed, Harden moved to PG, and Curry scaled back in light of teaming up with KD. So for obvious reasons the list is a bit dated, however I still have questions about whether we actually consider Harden a PG or not. He's a SG playing PG, it's just weird one year he's compared to Wade and Thompson then the next Curry and Cp3. Haven't figured out how we're actually classifying him yet..Either way he's beasting.

Dom2k Honeslty you just call him a SG. Lots of shooting guards lead their team into doing things. Look at Kobe, MJ, Harden, Jimmy Butler, Allen Iverson, and more I can't think of at the moment. Just because you change positions doesn't mean you won't do what you've done for so long. Both butler and Harden were originally SGs but got changed to better suit the team. But both still lead their team when playing SG. Harden is still a SG in my book.

Gotta put Chris Paul up there man. The man has a 3.8 assist to turnover ratio. Guarding doesn't necessarily mean that they have to be able to score, but rather to put up points. I think that's what Gary Payton meant when he said Stockton was harder to guard than Jordan. Stockton was so knowledgeable about how to use his other players to facilitate the offense, using picks inside cuts while being able to move the ball so fluidly. With Stockton, you know that you also can't leave him open because he's honestly one of the most underrated shooters of all time. The same thing with Chris Paul, he can do everything Stockton can pretty much. "Difficult to guard" should also include how the man uses his offense facilitation too rather than just pure scoring.

I agree with most of what you said, especially about Stockton and what Payton said about him. However, I don't think Paul is nearly as good as Stockton. Don't get me wrong I think Paul is phenomenal, but Stockton by far a better player.

That's what ive been saying (about currys defense) everyone said he was a terrible defender when he really isnt. He just has the burden of defending 2 of the best guards in the nba during the playoffs(uncle drew and westbrick). Those 2 guys can make any defender look like they're trash. Especially Uncle Drew. He benefits from the league allowing zone defense. Most of the defensive plays he does make come off-ball. His on-ball is really quite bad if he's playing against any upper tier guard... not just Irving and Westbrook. But yeah, him trying to check Irving in the finals wasn't even competitive... at all. GS lost the title because of his poor defense mostly.... just isoed him because he couldn't do anything to stop what was coming at him.

I'll actually put Damian Lillard over Russell if we just talking about scoring. This might sound crazy but westbrook's jump shot is not so consistent compare to dame and dame actually has a better handle in my opinion. Russel also needs to control his athleticism in some occasions where he over jump and can't control the touch.

It kills me how you all criticize Westbrook like he's the worst decision maker yet he shot the ball at a better percentage than the majority of elite guards. If Westbrook improves his finishing mechanics, he will shoot well over 50% easily. Lillard and Kyrie are almost video game like players, but they make mistakes also. Here's what I think. Statistically, curry is the best finisher in the nba. Even with the acrobatic contact layups. He had the best percentage of all point guards in layups. He clearly has the best shooting, no one will argue against that. When you need to guard him from 5 ft past the 3 point line, that's special. He will pull up from anywhere, if you slack. So you need to contest every shot he takes very close. So that means if he hits you with a pump fake, you HAVE to jump at it, because if he really does shoot, and you're a second late to react, chances are he'll hit that shot. He has the second best handles in the league, so he will cross your ass up if you're lacking, or pull up, depending on how far behind you are. And overall, you just can't stop him on offense. Only way to stop him is to be physical, and that still almost never works, because if you're pushing him hard, and playing physical, you will probably get a foul call, or he'll be to quick for you, and beat you to the basket, where he can finish the contact layup, or pass it out. Kyrie is basically a worse curry. He has better handles, but his scoring ability isn't anywhere near currys. (Kyrie is still good, probably a top 7 PG in the league.) Russ is more athletic, but not as skilled as kyrie or curry, but Is probably harder to guard due to his speed, and being able to finish better then kyrie. I think this guy got the list perfectly right.

Lucas Kim traditional isn't cutting it anymore though. And honestly I feel more confident doubling up on cp3 bc his team is inconsistent. I put cp3 rn as #5 or 6. That's still really good considering the amount of talent the average PG has these days. In his prime back in the day he would be #2.

Before going ahead and watching this video, I knew that it would mention curry , Westbrook, and Kyrie because these 3 point guards are indeed extremely difficult to guard. Kyrie has incredible ball handling skills which allow him to create substantial space on an isolation or double . Westbrook just defies athleticism and averages a triple double very often. He is the most athletic point guard to have ever played the game, and many regard him as being a super-athlete. Curry can shoot from everywhere, LITERALLY!!!

Cris Paul- Just because he has good defense and a good offensive player. 2.Stephen Curry- Would be an easy number one but his defense is weak, and I think you should good on both sides of the court. 3.Kryrie Irving- Insane offensively but like Curry weak defense. This is just my opinion. I think this is all debatable, and I think you could make a Russall Westbrook number 1, who isn't even on my list. That's how deep the N.B.A. is on point guards. It's difficult making a list like this, because Steph is just amazing. It was really hard. so I had to factor in defense.

Yes, I absolutely agree with your list. Each are great and one of the best PGs in nba history. They are great PG in general being able to score, pass and drive to the basket and each has their own go-to-move or should we say the signature skills asset such as Kyrie has the best handle, Westbrook is the best athletic PG if not the most athletic player in the current NBA and Curry with the unlimited range/crazy can almost shoot-in-any-type-of-situation kind of shooting. They are truly horrifying and a nightmare for those defenders guarding them.
