Uber is now stealing. Up to 80 percent of the fares and also stealing tips. I have screen grabs and proof of it. This company is being lead by a total scumbag and he needs to be brought to justice l. 43 dollar ride charging the rider 129, and then telling me it’s miscellaneous fees and that I’m getting a 75 25 split on the fair. This company is disgusting!!

There's no flexibility in this game anymore, you have to drive 60+ hours a week and at the same time, destroying your vehicle

The flood of imigrants coming from poor very poor countries, that are willing to work for a slice of bread, are the new rideshare driver over there (US), and here (EU). In Lisbon/Portugal, it´s crazy! Lots of security concerns with them, specially with women. Many reports on raping, drug trafficking and extreme bad service in general. It´s been crazy here. But hey, they accept all the trips and that´s what Uber wants, so...

Why we alway blame immigration for everything they don’t even have as much as a driver license it’s a process not that easily.

I was just talking about this today it’s crazy smh
@mk6963 ай бұрын
You are too lazy to focus your attention on the source of your problem. The problem is that Uber and Lyft is taking more of the fare. There have always been immigrants coming into this country. Stop blaming vulnerable people for your problems.

75% of drivers need to stop driving, and stay offline, until the pay problem is corrected. Trust me, if we cut their service by 75%, they will act to correct the problem. I will reach 6 weeks of 0 rides for Lyft on Thursday. I have no plans to drive in the future. I could use the hard cash. But, there is NO VALUE in SUBSIDIZING David Risher,'s UNEARNED SALARY.

I was recently accused of drunk driving durring a ride by a passenger. Uber called 911. At the end of the 15 minute trip, I was surrounded by police. I was taken to the hospital. There I took 2 breathalyzers and had blood drawn. The breath test showed no alcohol, but they threw me in jail and impounded my car. One month later my bloodwork was shown to be clean and charges were dropped. The whole event cost me $2500, plus a week of lost wages.
@gerry59333 ай бұрын
Sounds like you have a decent case for a lawsuit against Uber, the passenger and the police department… what are you waiting for?
@RobertChristenson-p6e2 ай бұрын
You should take Uber and the passenger that accused you of being under the influence of alcohol to court for lost wages.

I worked for 15 years as a medical courier (independent contractor) from 1997 thru 2012 and the industry-standard rate was 60% to the driver, and 40% to the company. Everything has been turned upside-down in today's Uber-inspired bizarro world.

The number one for us. In New Jersey and New York Suburbs is not getting up-front information!!!!!! Why? Some states do and we don’t?? You and Sergio need to fight for that unfair treatment. In New York suburbs the average pickup ride is 15 minutes away. I have many pickup that’s over 20 minutes away, that’s why my acceptance rate drop to 10% and keep going down. Unbelievable!!!

Given how bad things are for the large majority of drivers, I do not understand why so many still remain in the rideshare business. I have been following your channel throughout the year and I'm shocked by the stories I am hearing. Surely there are other ways to make a living? Establishing private clientele is the only way to go these days for those wanting to remain in the rideshare industry. Hats off to you for exposing these criminal corporations!

Thank you for your hard work protecting us. I have been driving for Lyft and Uber for over 5 years and have given over 10k rides. In May I gave a ride to a female or females that accused me of sexual inappropriate comments. This was the first accusations of this type ever. Lyft deactivated me. I'm using Torstens service to get reactivated. We are near the end of the first step. Lyft has not responded. I will keep you updated

I have to decline so many offers in general from the lyft due to low balling. Once your precent scores goes below 60% Lyft removes the ability to click on the call option, so your only choice is to use the chat to communicate with the rep. Imagine flying a plane and the tower says your scored is to low you can only communicate by chat box to some guy from another country.

Ubers service fees are 70%+ of what the rider pays. Leaving the driver 30% while uber CEO puts Millions of dollars in his pocket.

The battle of low ride prices shifted. From taxis to the private ride business. They beat taxi & limousine commissions and are now trying to squeeze out the cost of private drivers. Only reason I stayed on the platform is I want the maximum winnings on future class action lawsuits.

Driving rideshare has become the hunger games. The method of indoctrination is similar to an abusive relationship it begins sweet bonuses etc then it disappears you work harder attempting to climb some wacky game like status and you never get the money. They treat drivers like criminals maybe they know about the illegal profiles 😂. I complain to my Senator Congressman City Council and Mayor about the tip shaving the incentives to drive recklessly for .50 more seriously yes only .50 cents. I have found the Public Service Commission and now make good money driving 4 hours a day. The two big companies 😂 they are done too many ways to earn 95% or more of earnings

When Torsten mentioned working for crumbs and peanuts, had that feeling yesterday with DoorDash. 3 hours for $24 due to low pay deliveries and restaurants screwing up orders that were already picked up. Rather do rideshare for better pay and more flexible on time and locations.

Wage deflation is a real phenomenon that has been plaguing the vast majority of American workers for decades. Indeed, the general consensus is that real wages (wages adjusted for inflation) for working-class Americans peaked around 1973 and have been slowly declining ever since. There have been several short periods since when this has reversed, but the general trend since 1973 has been down, down, down. I believe this is an unofficial government/corporate/central banking policy to offset the massive amount of money printing/growth in outstanding debt (both government and corporate) that we have seen since the collapse of the Bretton Woods system in 1971. Flooding the country with both legal and illegal immigrants to increase the supply of workers to drive down wages has been one of the cornerstones of this destructive policy. The only folks benefiting from this are the ones at the very top of the pyramid. It is basically a neo-feudal system that will destroy itself in time.

Here are the facts for current and new rideshare drivers. 1. Uber is robbing all drivers by taking 50-60% of the fare. 2. Very low demands for rides 3. You will spend more time waiting for a ride rather than working 4. Too many drivers 4.
