@@scott2690 Missouri has better pork ribs and pulled pork than Texas. Texas only has good beef ribs and brisket. Pork and sides are trash.

If you come back to the Dallas area, try Hutchin’s BBQ. There is a location in McKinney and Frisco, TX. I prefer their brisket over Pecan Lodge and Terry Blacks. Hutchin’s sides are better and they have French fries. Also don’t get the lean cuts of brisket.

You made the mistake of not going to Franklin's. Everyone suggests Terry Black's because it's the second best. Franklins is a place where you have to arrive by 7 a.m. to get food before they sell out.

The one thing you missed out on at Terry Black's is the beef rib. All of the things you got were pretty good, but that's the one thing you can't miss at Terry Black's There's nothing else like it. It will make you want to cry while feeling like everything's going to be great. It's nirvana in a mouthful, heaven on a bone, salvation from the smoker. Better than any kind of meat I've EVER had. I hope you give it a try if you come back. If there was a parallel universe where a version of you had actually tried the big beef rib from Terry Black's, and that version of you found out this version of you casually passed on it, he would find a way to enter our universe, find you, and tell you what for. Hehe, seriously, though. Try the beef rib.
