My man’s bending his neck more than 30 degrees to fit in the frame here

Haha! Yes! The pain of trying to film in a tiny space! 😭 You just have to work with what you got! I've got a studio now... but my head still kinda tilts to the right LoL 😂

Interesting techniques, you explained this really well. This is helpful for all visual storytelling, including comics and animation.

Rules are there to be broken, but first you've got to know the rules! New video on the 30 degree rule out now!

Thanks man! I was wondering, when you're filming an interview, do you think 30 degree is the sweet spot? I would imagine 40 degree being a little more variety-like. What do you think?
@KaiCreative Жыл бұрын
@@flowinglikethewaterz I'd say a minimum of 30 degrees, the more the better

@@KaiCreative awesome thanks for your input. I was wondering if there’s a video of you sharing your story of how you got where you are in your career?

So if I am filming something with 2 cameras and I need to adhere to the 30 degree rule, Is it recommended to bring a measuring tape to measure the distance between the two cameras?
@KaiCreative4 жыл бұрын
Not at all 😁 you can work it roughly. You know what 45 degrees is. So make sure the separation between the two is closer to that if you are unsure 😊

Do you have any rules for editing interviews? Should you just use intuition to decide when to cut to the other angle?
@KaiCreative4 жыл бұрын
When there are long filler words like ‘umms’ and ‘ahhhs’ that’s a great time to cut - also when there is a section you want to remove perhaps where there is a disturbance. Also maybe to connect a thought or point in a more succinct way by cutting down a waffled answer.
