I bought the blue about a month ago, perfect condition right out of the box. Easily a $500-600 guitar. Fesley told me they were ceramic PU"S but they sound more like AlNico 5's. Putting a black pickguard on it. All the reviews on this guitar say the same thing. Nice Review

I’m thinking the exact same thing with mine, I want to add a black guard.

Just checked them out at NAMM and they felt great!! Unfortunately the booth really didn’t have a great amp to try them thru so I won’t pretend to know how the pickups sound in a loud hall and a line 6 catalyst… 😂

These wilkinsons are always surprisingly responsive. They tend to be a bit hot and britle to my tastes. But I am suprised. I remember using these in like 2007ish with a Cort guitar and was blown away back then as well. This reminds me of that cort.

I was looking at the telle and that one needs new pi k ups but it is still a great value. Fessley is really doing some impressive stuff. I played one of the roughly $200 single cuts from Fessley and it was remarkably good.. like how do they get they level of quality for that price good?

Hi, I think this is a great review and i know that you try to be always unbiased, but i have to say that the difference in the price range of guitars is also in the quality control. Fesley probably sent you the best guitar they had in stock, and maybe they went through several of them that had problems and selected the best one for the review, then gave it a very good setup so that it played effortlessly and so on... What i am saying is that when customers buy that guitar are probably not gong to get a guitar that has the same quality and setup as the one you received. If they are able to make a guitar with those specs for 300 bucks they have to cheap out on something, like the quality control. I'm not trying to criticize your reviews or this video, but I'm trying to make a point that is also valid for most of the guitar reviews here on KZbin. No hate, actually i love your vids, keep it up man!
@JeremyAndersonBoiseКүн бұрын
Entirely possible this is true, it makes sense to me, but there is a chance they are legitimately sending one straight off the factory floor, time will tell and I would encourage all consumers to share their experiences with any major purchase.
@iamstan_rimpКүн бұрын
That’s the difference between and $300 and $1000 guitar for the most part outside of the wood and carving,finish is just a setup. Quality control is what separates any company.
@xfaster5814Күн бұрын
@iamstan_rimp yes that's exactly my point
@xfaster5814Күн бұрын
@@JeremyAndersonBoise yes that's true, more money doesn't necessarily mean more quality, and vice versa. That could be a very nice guitar with good qc, we'll wait for customer reviews to come out and then we'll see...

@ToneJunkieTVКүн бұрын
Well one is a strat and the other is an LP so pretty different but both have really impressed me for sure! I’m not sure which one I would say is better. The Tesla pups in the SC550 are pretty nice but so are these Wilkinsons. So far they are the best $300 ish guitars I have played.

12.0.10 just released. Is this only trems? I’m also seeing atmospheric reverbs being posted on instagram. I understand if you don’t consider it a credible upgrade to devote a video to l get that. Kemper has generously blessed us with liquid profiles and it seems that people just don’t necessarily value it. It’s like everyone bellyached about static profiles that couldn’t or shouldn’t be adjusted but as soon as Christoph gives everyone what they want the no playing opinion community just kinda shuts up.
@ToneJunkieTVКүн бұрын
Haha, yeah that’s kind of true. Honestly I don’t think I upgraded yet, I’ll look for any verb updates but I just saw Christophe on the NAMM floor and we chatted about stuff and he didn’t mention new verbs. I am actually working on a video with kemper on the player.

I've heard a rumour that Fesley and Donner are made in the same Chinese factory that produces the Squier Debut Series. The only question is... If they sent you that guitar, did they send you a "golden sample" or is that guitar actually indicative of what the majority of consumers will get? See, I got a Donner DJC-1000S and, while it's definitely worth more than I paid for it, it's nowhere near as good as what the reviews say. It's playable and all, but it's definitely not my first choice (or second or third for that matter!) in my collection to play. That's ok thoguht because I just wanted a cheap Tele to see what they're like (because I'm not a fan of their appearance) and I liked the fact it was a semi-hollow with twin humbuckers. As I said though, it's nowhere near as good as the reviews portrayed it so how do we know that Fesley isn't up to the same shenanigans? Like, I WANT to believe it but a $300 guitar with real Grover tuners and Wilkinson pickups seems a little TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, eh? In any case, your review was still great and I believe in your honesty, I just don't believe in the honesty of corporations and that's what Fesley is.
