I always thought it was single target damage, like YOU get damaged if YOU attack it. AoE is crazy

6:50 I mean, it sucks, but I wouldn't blame people for not knowing this. Your average player isn't going to read up on the details of Pokemon they don't use often (we're lucky if they read the details on Pokemon they DO use...), and even if they do know about this, it's something that's very easy to forget in the heat of the moment. I understand being upset that people don't know how held items work, you need to know what they ALL do in order to make sure you're picking the right ones. I understand being upset when players don't know to let Top Regi crash a goal, it's a situation that happens all the time and they should have figured it out by now. But not knowing specific mechanics and interactions of specific Pokemon? Maybe after 3,000 games they should know most of these things, but before that, I wouldn't blame anyone.

My memory is a bit faded but the EvilQueen’s lore was first mentioned on this channel during the Mewtwo era where she was a golden badge Mewtwo. She was also #1 on the global leader rankings for scoring at the time. Both accomplishments which are off-putting if you think about it. She currently sits in top 15 in the praise rankings leader boards. If you didn’t know this, I don’t blame you as nobody really cares about those leader boards anyway.
