Colonel Lalit Rai’s sterling account of the role played by his battalion in the icy heights of Khalubar, coupled with first hand accounts of daring, death and triumph moved the 1200+ audience to tears. It was particularly poignant that General Thimayya had 50 years earlier in 1949 played an equally stellar role in Kargil.

I guess every officer in Indian Army is trained in a way that s/he will come out as a brilliant leader and speaker. Take Captain Raghu Raman as an example or if you are aiming high you can surely recall the master speaker Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.

Some one said why war? We can hockey match to decide? I think this gentleman need to know if there is no immunity to protect from disease you are dead. Our Defence forces are like immunity that keeps protect from aggression to listen like peace loving people to talk about peace. You will not be there to talk like this if there is no defence.

Good speech. Are you Indian or Nepalese. If you are Nepalese why you are serving the Indian army?

He is Indian... There r many Nepalese serving in Indian army. Nepal was once a part of ancient India or Hind Thats why becoz similarity in religion language culture lifestyle... Everything.. .. We consider them as indians

He is a pure nepali . And nepal was not a part of india it never was . Nepal conquered so many lands from india during 1600s and 1700s by our late king prithivi narayan shah . Until british government came to india and ruled over there. And cause great war between gorkhas and british ... after the contract (sughauli sandhi) nepal has to lost some of part darjeeling assam sikkim kumao garhwal and other nepalese states to east india company. And that's how they started to recruit gorkhas in their army . British government has to leave india but they didn't leave empty handed they took 4 out of 10 gorkha regiment with them and other left in india ...and that's how we Nepalese sacrificing our life to india because we our ancestors promised to serve indian government even after the east indian company left . They never break promises and rules . they never had ...
@wangtamang5574

@@xi_c_ayushprashar5950 indian gorkhas are actually nepalese but their nationality is india because many gorkha army were settled there after there retirement and some of them born there that's why they recognize themself as an indian. Sorry if i didn't able to solve your confusion...
