Thank you for posting this. For whatever reason, I tend to forget what to do once I am on side control. Hopefully, I'll remember these tonight.

I've been trawling BJJ videos for ages. 99% of them spend too much time blabbing which breaks up the action and actually makes it harder. Then I came across this one. Beautifully explained. Repeated from several angles. Deliberate, step by step moves which are perfectly clear to see. For this quality, you should have 1000x the views! Please keep making!

Hey brother, 8 month white belt here. Watched this video the night before my first no gi tournament. I was in the 170-180 weight bracket. Tapped my first opponent to that side control Americana you showed. Thanks so much! Won my second match 6-2, and then lost in the final due to being gassed lol. I’ll take a silver medal for my first tournament though. Thanks so much man!!!

wow, that's really well explained. Its great that you put together 4 movies for a position most videos only show one move so learning can be confusing for beginners.

I have a submission wrestling "test" next week, so I've been reviewing submissions from various positions. I like how detailed your breakdowns were. This video helped more than any of the others I've watched today. Thanks! You've earned a fan!

Thank you so much Jedi for your videos. I started BJJ three weeks ago and I've been watching you videos on a regular basis. Tonight, I had three submissions two from Side control and one from the back. thanks again

Thank you for your very helpful videos. They're well done with how they're shot and edited and you have a talent in guiding people, especially those new to BJJ.

Thank you old chap, your brilliant videos show you applying the moves against resisting opponents, it makes it so much easier for us to understand the real-life applications. Yours is the best BJJ channel 😄

Awesome man. Your vids get to the point and I like that. For me, I've just started rolling, and often I get in both offensive and defensive positions and have good intentions, but then don't know exactly what to do.. the steps.. That arm triangle is gold. I'm gonna try it next roll for sure haha.

Thank you so much for this! I always end up in side control but don’t know what direction to go to once I get there so definitely will try some of these for my next rolling Session!

awesome video, as a former wrestler i always find myself pinning people and then not knowing what to do. The other side control submission videos i've watched look like some anime ninja tactics lmao. These seem a lot more doable as a beginner.

None of your opponents had even basic white belt defence blocking your hip. Getting to mount is so easy to block, no idea why bother teaching a summation that requires it.

You talk too much. Just get into the techniques already instead of blabbering.
@t_share8032 Жыл бұрын
I love the "blabbering!" Aye TONY! If you hit the left arrow key on your keyboard it skips a head 5 seconds. Maybe use that feature some moR rather than being an @$$. 😉 Another strategy is going down and clicking on the where the technique starts... KZbin even shows you where... Also Key moments work too... You got options!
