11:59 Make sure you can always find unfiltered information on health by signing up for my newsletter!
Today, we’re going to talk about the best natural things to do for difficulty breathing, air hunger, or dyspnea.
Traditionally, people may have heard of this symptom being caused by asthma, pneumonia, COPD, lung infection, anemia, or a heart condition. But what if you rule these conditions out and still have problems breathing?
This is called pseudo-dyspnea. With pseudo-dyspnea, you may feel better with exercise and worse with rest.
Top causes of pseudo-dyspnea (difficulty breathing) and natural remedies:
1. Silent reflux
Natural solutions:
• Chlorophyll
• Wheatgrass juice powder
• Betaine hydrochloride (if there isn’t irritation to the gut or esophagus)
• Apple cider vinegar diluted in water and consumed through a straw (if there isn’t irritation to the gut or esophagus)
2. Alkalosis
Natural solutions:
• Betaine hydrochloride (if there isn’t irritation to the gut or esophagus)
• Apple cider vinegar diluted in water and consumed through a straw (if there isn’t irritation to the gut or esophagus)
• Healthy Keto® and intermittent fasting
• TUDCA
3. Costochondritis
Natural solutions:
• Massaging and stretching the spine
• Using a mobility stick
4. COVID
Natural solutions:
• Thiamine (vitamin B1)

I had this problem for six months guys. I understand how you feel and how it drains everything and makes you feel miserable. But do not give up! I am still not 100% sure what's my problem is, but it's 95-98% of normal breathing now. Here is what I did for six month: 1) I checked my lungs (xray and breathing test) all was good and clean. So I figured probably not lungs, although I've been smoking for 12 years. 2) I checked my heart ecg and it was okay too. And when I do exercises, I don't feel worse, but actually better! 3) I checked my gallbladder and found 3 stones, one of them disolvee by now. Working on others, even tho they are 1,1 cm. I drank tudca, but it didn't help my breathing. 4) Then i thought it could be one of two things. Costochodritis or silent reflux. 5) I checked my stomach and found h pylori and reflux. I started treating h pylori, before treating reflux, cause that's what dr berg sugessted. 6) after the treatment, I feel better, my stool is better and breathing came from 80% to 90% of normal. 7) then I started drinking apple cider vinegar (now when he pylori is gone) and added betaine hcl few days ago. I also started keto (or more like carnivore with dairy) and 3 times a week gym + 5 times a week walking 10000 steps. Also added pull ups and hanging. Now I feel 95-98%, but I ordered back-pod on Amazon, which is what you need for costochodritis according to Steve August. So I suggest you to use this miserable condition as a tool and motivation to change the way you live! For sure check your lungs and heart first, then you can try other stuff. I would also suggest doing Wim Hof breathing technique, it gives me relief. From supplements, I take zinc, selene, d3, tudca, acv, betaine hcl. For anyone who is going through this, I ask to stay calm and strong. No one will take care of your health, except you. Feel free to ask questions or just like, so others might find something useful or relate and comment.

Thanks for sharing this info, I have shortness of breath and I am suffering a right now. Just as I have been the past 2 months :(. I still exercise but not as much and not as intense as I used to, before I started having this breathing problem. I love to play soccer and workout and I choose to power through my shortness of breath sometimes when I do play soccer or workout. But again, I don't push as hard as I used to compared to when I used to breathe normally (Sometimes my breathing does get actually better with excersie but sometimes in a way.) To get to the point, Ive checked my heart and lungs through X-ray, and my lungs and heart is good. Then I checked my CO2 levels and its within normal rage which means I probably don't need to take Tudca, so I am thinking I do have a digestive issue which I think I do since I get bloated very easily and full fast. I feel like I can't digest food that efferently. So did you check your stomach by doing some type of test at your doctors and if so what test was it? Also, since you had a problem with your stomach, did you feel a burning sensation, or felt bloated most of the time? Thanks for your time. I really appreciate it if you replied to me, I have been suffering lately with this breathing problem that I have been dealing with these past 2 months. :(

@@ericoropeza8303 Hi there. Yes, I had some bloating and a little pain, when i press my stomach laying down. I did the test (fiberoptic gastroduodenoscopy), is when you swallow the tube and doc checks your stomach. I would suggest checking that as well. Watching Dr.Berg and others suggest that breathing problems could be due to the silent reflux, which you probably have, if you get bloated and burning sensation. I am myself not fully recovered, but i'm 93-95% of a normal. Going to check my stomach next month to see if i cured H pylori and reflux.Oh and i def couldn't digest food as well as i am now, so maybe our problem is similar. Go see gastroenterologist, and let me know what you found later on)

@@ilka_tv9819 Thanks, I really appreciate it, its been hard for me these past 2 months. Not being able to breathe, going to the doctors all the time just to see what's wrong but nothing yet. My doctors haven't told me what's wrong with me yet. My next appointment is not until 2 weeks from now. I'm just so confused on what's causing me to have difficulty breathing, so thats why I am doing everything possible to see what can cure me. Like doing what Dr. Eric Berg is saying. I could feel it in my stomach, and somethings off on my right side of my lung. I just started drinking Apple cider vinegar today, 1 tbsp mixed with water, so hopefully that can help because there might not be enough acid in my stomach. Also thanks, I will consider getting my self a gastroenterologist's doctor if this apple cidar vinigar doesn't help in like a week. I just hope this works.

@@ericoropeza8303 hi again. I understand your feelings. It's really scary and frustrating, I'm still working on my issue, although it is better, it's not 100%. I would suggest you to check your stomach anyway. If they find reflux or h pylori, they will presribe you omeprozol, which blocks acid reflux, and if your breathing caused by it, it will help you a lot. But don't forget that it's not the best solution, it's better to drink ACV and Betaine hcl and restore acid in your stomach. I, personally, took omeprozol for two weeks as prescribed for h pylori eradication and I felt so much better, I almost wanted to cry haha. Then ive stopped and now drink ACV + two betaine hcl.

@@facts4147I've heard that the inability to gain weight can come from a B1 deficiency and it can also come from having an insufficient digestive system. Personally, I would work on having all the b supplements naturally in your diet. And I would also work on having a good probiotic(50B), kefir, etc. vitamin C is also important...thru food sources.

I can also share some things that worked for me. NUMBER 1: wean yourself off of sugar to having near 0. Number 2: Massage to drain your lymphatic system works wonders in giving relief from symptoms. So, learn about the act of massage on your glands under your jaw line, these glands are responsible for drainage. You can locate them by feeling for what should feel like a large olive on either side under your jawline. If you massage them in circular motion for a count of around 40/ then take fingers and gently- but firmly pull down from those olive-shaped gland down to the breast bone (if you don't know it; that is the bone that kind of shaped like a bow), do this for a count of 40 (again, gently but firmly) If it feels uncomfortable I'd just lessen the pressure. Then what I do is; I take the tips of my fingers, finding the soft spot just about the center of the sternum (the little hollowed out area) & gently poke fingers into that area all across to the end of your breast bone and back again. ****This actually works. If you do this and let yourself relax, perhaps listen to something peaceful while you do it. Healing your body is very much connected to healing your spirit, your emotions. Number 3: This is what I have used. You have to do your own research to see what you think you can tolerate. I use Black castor oil wraps on my neck at night. Again, you have to decide for yourself. All I can tell you is that it worked for me. Best to you.

I was diagnosed with COPD 11 years ago. I had various tests 8 years ago, but the hospital results never materialised. I don’t however accept the this is the primary reason for my problems with breathing. For many, many years prior to the diagnosis I had sinusitis every time I had a cold and antibiotics each time. I can an do sing without issue and as long as I whistle, I get no issues with walking, it the medics won’t listen to me and just keep changing my COPD meds. I believe I am not breathing in sufficiently and therefore I don’t have enough oxygen in my lungs to breath out fully. My logic tells me that this results in my breathing getting shallower and shallower with each step. The evidence of this is that if I try to dance, even the slowest song, I am done in just over 1 minute. Sadly I don’t have the finances to go private in UK, but I am sick of the doctors treating symptoms rather than listening to me and finding out the root cause and then treating it.

And it can only heal if you're avoiding anything that causes inflammation in the body. While at the same time correcting deficiencies. Magnesium at 1,000mg a day completely got rid of my ectopic beats and palpitations. And benfotiamine at 1,000 plus my finally got rid of my accelerated heart rate as well as shortness of breath. HELP!! I'm 61 years old. I do everything in the book, and I mean everything (even the icy shower!), Omad (20-4), strict keto, no stress, sleep well, I work out 5 times a week (TRX), supplements and yes, I have gained muscles but in the last year, gained 20 pounds! I will try to go back to 3 meals a day and see the effects. I want to get rid of my stubborn belly fat. People say that I look very fit, and I am, but this stubborn fat around the waist is still there! I am a former high-level athlete and high-level coach and... dumbfounded!

I was diagnosed with pneumonia then I had the common cold. Then I went to a pulmonologist and she told me I had bronchitis and not pneumonia. I do have asthma for over 20 years. But I’ve been having shortness of breath for four weeks now. They did a lung function test at the pulmonologist visit And said that my lungs are working at 120%. She says I am good. So she told me that it’s all in my head. She upset me so much and she just blew me off. I was very unhappy about that. Now I have a regular doctors appointment on Wednesday and don’t know what to do at this point. I was in the ER twice with my shortness of breath and the last two weeks. I don’t feel anxious. Don’t feel upset. Yes we all have things going on in our lives. That might be slightly stressful. But I’ve been having constant shortness of breath for four weeks. And the only time I feel better is when I’m on prednisone.but I am a diabetic. So I do not want to be on prednisone. At this point, I don’t know what is going on with me. Can really be all in my head? Or is there something else going on? Should I get a second opinion for another pulmonologist?
