VirtualDJ is HID though ;-) And is also official ... l www.pioneerdj.com/en/support/software-information/cdj-2000/ for example. Although not always listed, true. Depends We work with the hardware partners in most all cases, and implementation is done in cooperation, and welcomed by.. :) But yes, we have support for most all hardware as you mentioned ...

Hello! My apologies. As I mentioned, upon my research, I didn’t see VDJ listed as a supported software for the current devices. You are correct in pointing out the 2009 CDJ-2000 mentions VDJ support. I remember it mentions being able to integrate with Serato, Traktor, Ableton and VDJ. I mentioned VDJ at the end because I wanted to highlight the fact your platform supports so many devices. KZbin only allows us to edit and cut parts out after upload, or we would have to reupload the video. Would you prefer I remove the segment all together? Or rather would you like me to mention the correction in the pinned comment? That way I can correct the information. Also, great job on the stem splitting feature! The integration with the EQ controls was a well thought out design! Would love to keep a dialogue open with your company to verify information. I don’t work in the mobile industry so I don’t ever cross paths with VDJ users. Facebook groups and online forums aren’t the friendliest place to ask questions, so would love to have contact with folks from the company. Please let me know what you think!

Dude. I really appreciate that you take many things into consideration when doing your research and making these videos. You don't brand bash and you're not all super "purist". It shows that you really care about the craft and the implementation of all this tech. I still remember dreaming about a lot of these concepts. The features of all these competing companies have something to offer all kinds of DJs, with all kinds of budgets, to play for all kinds of situations. Just depends on what you wanna do. Cus at the end of the day, its not as much what you play, as much as it's HOW you play. Thanks again man. Love your work. Might have to pick your brain some day. Not many people on the level, ;)

The future is nuts, I can remember lugging round a record boxs back in the 90's, love vinyl but don't love the weight. These days just one usb drive running on multiple decks is insane, in a good way. My only concern with one usb being called by 4 deck could put quite a strain on the stick and fail. Anyway amazing.

it would be cool if you could talk about the improvements made to the performance and export mode connections. since the XDJ-RR it's possible to use export mode via USB and since the NXS2 series it's possible to use HID via Pro DJ Link (LAN) if the DJM is connected via USB. i'd really like to know if it's possible to use export mode via USB as well when only the DJM is connected via USB and the players are only linked to the mixer, and also which players support exactly what setup types.

5:56 CDJs have far less latency than DJ controllers-*inherently*, just like I suspected! *Finally*, I've found someone saying this! I've been trying to figure this out for hours and days. Thank you! 17:25 CDJs in DVS have more latency than analog turntables. Thank you again! 20:21 CDJ-100 in DVS relative mode & CDJ-1000 in DVS relative mode do the same thing (or at least are very comparable?) 36:40 Export mode lets you manipulate files from your computer with better latency than DVS & takes processing load off your computer @Pri yon Joni, If you did a video on DJ setup latency, it seems like a valuable topic because I've been having trouble finding reliable info on this. If anyone knows of a resource on latency in DJ rigs, please let me know!

As far as I remember, CDJ-400 (which appears to be completely hidden from search results) was advertised as both being capable of reading MP3s from a flash drive and being able to connect via USB to a computer. I really loved their flanger effect right on the deck...

Hi, first of all congrats for your channel. I can say this is the most interesting channel on KZbin. You’re great and you’re doing an excellent job. I’m an old school hip hop dj and I always used turntables . I still use my 25 years old Techs ... 😉 now after watching your videos I decided to buy my first controller and I got a Pioneer DDJ 1000 SRT. Everything seems so strange to me but I have to practice with that to improve my skills with this new equipment. Could you do a tutorial on how to mix hip hop with the controller, giving some transitions tips, fx tips and so on ? Thanks a lot and keep on doing what you do because it’s so good .

Serato doesn’t allow you to reallocate the audio outputs.
