Mary is the New Eve (Gen 3:15, Luke 1:38, Jn 2:4, Jn 19:26, Gal 4:4, Rev 12:1, Rev 12:17) IMMACULATE CONCEPTION: As Eve was created sinless, the New Eve was born unstained by original sin. How can the New Eve be inferior to the old? ASSUMPTION OF MARY: If Adam and Eve had obeyed God, they would have entered heaven body and soul. Since the new creation is the fulfillment of the failure of the old, Jesus, the New Adam, and Mary, the New Eve, obeyed God perfectly. Because of their perfect obedience, Jesus and Mary entered heaven body and soul. CO-REDEMPTRIX: Both Adam and Eve sinned but it was Adam's sin that caused the downfall. Nevetheless, Eve was Co-Transgressor as she played a vital part in man's downfall. In a similar manner, although Jesus' obedience redeemed man, Mary was Co-Redemptrix as she played a vital role in man's redemption. Eve listens to a fallen angel, sins, and tempts Adam who brings the fall of man. Mary listens to an Angel, accepts God's plan, gives birth toJesus who is the redeemer of man. MEDIATRIX OF ALL GRACES: Mary is Mediatrix of All Graces because Mary gives birth to Jesus who reconciles man to God so we can receive God's grace. Also through Mary's intercessory prayers, we receive God's grace as displayed at the wedding at Cana when Jesus truned water into wine asked his Son for assistance. It is not Mary's grace, but God's grace that we receive through Mary's intercession. Mary is the New Ark of the Covenant (Ex 40:34-35, Lk 1:35), (2 Sam 6:1-11, Lk 1:39), (2 Sam 6:14, Lk 1:43), (2 Sam 6:15, Lk 1:42), (2 Sam 6:9, Lk 1:43), ( 2 Sam 6:11, Lk 1:56), (2 Sam 6:11, Lk 1:39-45), (Ex 16:33-34, Ex 25:16, Num 17:10, Heb 9:5), (Rev 11:19, Rev 12:1) Prefigured in Jephthah's daughter (Luke 1:34,38 Judges 11:35-39) EVER VIRGIN: No man could touch the Ark (2 Sam 6:7). Similarly no man could touch Mary the New Ark of the covenant. Mary's viriginy upholds the divinity of Jesus. The Ark's main purpose was to bring the presence of God to his people. Similarly, the New Ark's main purpose was to bring the prescence of Jesus (God/Man) to the world. Sacred vessles set aside for God, cannot be used for normal use. Like a goblet used in worship cannot be used to drink wine at dinner. Simiarly Mary's womb set aside to bring God's prescence into the world cannot be used for normal use. Luke in 1:34,38 was alluding to Jephthah's daughter in Judges 11 who accepted the will of her father and was ever virgin. Likewise because Mary accepted God the Father's will, she became ever virgin. Her womb dedicated to God, could not be used for normal activity.

The angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; for that reason also the holy Child will be called the Son of God. Luke 1:35. ....where in this text does Mary get promoted to "The new Eve???? Nowhere! You have made a new gospel and will surely reap what you have sewn. The Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary and He is responsible for the work done there.

@@RemyAlphaElite Great question. In Luke chapter 1:26-38, God is contrasting Mary with Eve to let us know that he is ushering in the new creation. In Genesis Eve was approached by a fallen angel, was tempted, and disobeys God. She tempts Adam who disobeys and leads to the fall of man. In Luke Mary is approached by the Angel Gabriel who informs Mary of God's role for her, and she accepts and obeys God's will. Because of her obedience, Jesus our savior enters the world to save man. God is telling us that Mary is the new Eve in the new creation. In the old creation, although not the cause of the fall of man, Eve played a role in the fall of man. In the new creation, although Mary is not the cause of our salvation, she played a role in salvation of man. If you have eyes to see and ears to hear. Keep the questions coming. You are like the bereans who read the Bible daily but did not see Jesus Christ in it. So now I will show you Mary in the Bible as God intended for us to know her.

@@whitewolf4096 Jesus is mediator in the sense that Jesus reconciles man to God. He restores our relationship with God. Jesus saves man. Mary is mediatrix in different way than Jesus. Mary is mediatrix in similar sense to the ark of the covenant in OT. It is through the ark that God chose to give victory to Israel. Without ark defeat. With ark victory. In NT Mary is ark of new Covenant. God chose Mary to magnify God’s power. It is through Mary that God’s power and might is most intensely manifested in the world. Without Mary no Victory. With Mary God’s victory. Mary says my soul magnifies the Lord.

The dogma of the Immaculate Conception actually says that Mary was CONCEIVED without sin, not "born" without sin like I mistakenly said in this video. In Mary's case, she was both conceived and born without sin, and had no sin her whole life. However, it is important to distinguish between conception and birth because being conceived without sin can only be a work of God. (The entire life of Mary, after all, is one big magnifying glass showing us the work of God) In theory, someone who was conceived WITH sin could be taken out of the womb through surgery, baptised, and then put back into the womb to be "born" without sin. Lol. Babies have been taken out of the womb many times for surgery and put back in so this scenario isn't too farfetched. So... Immaculate Conception means CONCEIVED without sin.

Hi. It's not in the Bible. The word Trinity is not in the Bible either. The word "Bible" is also not in the Bible. Many things are not in the Bible. Otherwise, the Bible would be too big. That's why we have the Apostolic Traditions (2 Thessalonians 2:15) and the teachings of the Church.

Just want to add: there is another equally plausible belief that the "brothers" of Jesus are actually step-siblings from Joseph's previous marriage. This tradition also believes Joseph was much older than Mary. The woman in Revelation is not explicitly stated to be Mary (even though we know it is). She can also be a symbol of Israel, the Church, etc.

Are Marian Dogmas Biblical? Based upon Lk. 1:28, “And he came to her and said, “Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you.”, Mary is full of grace. The graces God fully bestows on her are not one, two, three, or many graces but full; so full that if these graces were to be added up, they would be equaled to “the Lord is with you (her).” These graces, to name but a few, have been identified by the Catholic Church as: To be the Mother of God; to be perpetual virgin in her virginal conception of Christ, in giving birth to Christ, and her continuing virginity after His birth; to be conceived without original sin; and to be assumed body and soul into heaven, and all other graces. In short, if there is a grace that the Lord did not bestow onto Mary, she would not be full of grace. Thus, the Assumption of Mary and all other Marian dogmas are biblical for their basis lies in Luke 1:28. By proclaiming these dogmas, all that the Catholic Church did was to make known to the world, especially the faithful the graces the Lord himself bestowed on Mary. Besides these dogmas, there are many other graces or great things which the Lord has bestowed on Mary, Lk. 1:49, “for he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name.” These can be found in the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Thanks for your video explanation. We can add the sinlessness of Mary summerizes and implies all the four dogma: She was preserved from the original sin because the Mother of God was also capable to preserve herself from any other sin, to remain perpetually Virgin not to betray her ethernal vow to the angel of the Annunciation, to be preserved from death which Is a consequence inherited with the original sin and a divine punishment of the individual dins. The Virgin Mary hadn't nothing of those two, and thus she couldn't have experienced death. In that she could be thought to be better than her Divin Son of God, but only Christ had to fulfill prophecies for the ethernal salvation of the human kind.

This is good way to think about. However, consider what is meant by the “Dormition of Mary.” Death and decay aren’t the same thing. We know she didn’t suffer decay and he body did not bear the stain of sin. We also know she was taken up body and soul for the same reason. But what about death? We know she was tempted, like all descendants of Adam, and the early church teaches that she “slept.” Is this a form of death without decay, or is it just rest until she was taken up into heaven? I’m still considering these things.

REV 12 tells us the wiman who aooears in the heavens is the woman who gives birth to the male child who will rule the nations. (Mary) ➨ MARY'S STATE OF PURITY ● LUKE 1:24-48 The Angel Gabriel greeted Mary with: "Hail, full of grace (grace is the state of purity that God gives to human beings by which they are saved) the Lord is with thee" ➨ HONOURING MARY: ● LUKE 1:24-48 All generations will call her blessed. /Mary was chosen by God to bring his only Son to the human race. The phrase “full of grace” in Greek is “plaras karitos,” and it occurs in only two places in the New Testament; neither one is in reference to Mary. “And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only-begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth,” (John 1:14). “And Stephen, full of grace and power, was performing great wonders and signs among the people,” (Acts 6:8). The first citation refers to Jesus who is obviously full of grace. Jesus is God in flesh, the crucified and risen Lord, who cleanses us from our sins. In the second citation, it is Stephen who is full of grace. We can certainly affirm that Jesus was conceived without sin and remained sinless, but can we conclude this about Stephen as well? Certainly not. The phrase “full of grace” does not necessitate sinlessness by virtue of its use. In Stephen’s case, it signifies that he was “full of the Spirit and of wisdom,” along with faith and the Holy Spirit (Acts 6:3, 5). But Stephen was a sinner. Nevertheless, where does the phrase “full of grace” come from regarding Mary? The Latin Vulgate is the Latin translation of the Bible done by St. Jerome in the fourth century. It is here in Luke 1:28 that is found the unfortunate Latin translation which says “ave gratia plena “Hail full of grace.'” Remember, the New Testament was written in Greek-not Latin-but the Roman Church has derived its doctrine from the Latin translation - not the Greek original. Therefore, it constructed its doctrine on a false translation. Of course, it cannot correct itself since so much is invested in the worship, adoration, and prayer to Mary in the Roman Catholic Church; and to recant of this false teaching would greatly lessen its credibility. Unfortunately, this means that millions of Catholics will continue to look to Mary for help-not Christ who is truly full of grace. So what do the other translations say about Luke 1:28? Let’s find out. The Nestle-Aland 26th edition, Greek New Testament Interlinear-“having gone into her he said rejoice one having been favored, the master is with you.” The NRSV English-Greek Reverse-Interlinear New Testament-And he came to her and said, “Greetings, favored one! The Lord is with you.” American Standard Version-“And he came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favored, the Lord is with thee.” English Standard Version-“And he came to her and said, Greetings, O favored one, the Lord is with you! Today’s English Version-‘”The angel came to her and said, “Peace be with you! The Lord is with you and has greatly blessed you!” King James Version-“And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.” New American Standard Bible-“And coming in, he said to her, Hail, favored one! The Lord is with you. New International Version-“The angel went to her and said, Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you. New King James Version-“And having come in, the angel said to her, Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!” Revised Standard Version-“And he came to her and said, ‘Hail, O favored one, the Lord is with you!’ New Revised Standard Version- And he came to her and said, “Greetings, favored one! The Lord is with you.” The New Century Version-The angel came to her and said, “Greetings! The Lord has blessed you and is with you.” New Living Translation-Gabriel appeared to her and said, “Greetings, favored woman! The Lord is with you!’” The Cambridge Paragraph Bible-And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, ‘thou that art ‘highly favoured, ‘the Lord is with thee: ‘blessed art thou among women.’ The Holman Christian Standard Bible-“And the angel came to her and said, “Rejoice, favored woman! The Lord is with you.” International Standard Version-‘”The angel” came to her and said, “’Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you!” What does the Greek say here for “highly favored one? It is the single Greek word kexaritomena and means highly favored, make accepted, make graceful, etc. It does not mean “full of grace” which is “plaras karitos” (plaras = full and karitos = Grace) in the Greek. 5923 χαριτόω (charitoō): vb.; Str 5487; TDNT 9.372-LN 88.66 show kindness graciously give, freely give (Eph 1:6); as a passive participle, subst., “one highly favored.”1 5487 χαριτόω [charitoo /khar·ee·to·o/] v. From 5485; TDNT 9:372; TDNTA 1298; GK 5923; Two occurrences; AV translates as “be highly favoured” once, and “make accepted” once. 1 to make graceful. 1a charming, lovely, agreeable. 2 to peruse with grace, compass with favour. 3 to honour with blessings.2 Therefore, we conclude that the Roman Catholic Church has manufactured far too much doctrine concerning Mary out of the erroneous translation of the Latin Vulgate Bible, and that the RCC needs to recant its false teaching concerning Mary. Conclusion Mary was a very blessed woman. She was graced with the privilege of being able to bear the Son of God. We should never forget her high privilege in this respect. However, we must not elevate her to a level beyond that which is prescribed in Scripture. To do so is to be in error-the very error that is taught in the Roman Catholic Church. We urge Roman Catholics not to look to Mary. Instead, they should look to Jesus alone. He alone is the sinless one, the perfect one, the Lord, the mediator, the forgiver of our sins. It is he alone to whom we should appeal and trust for the forgiveness of our sins. We should not look to any creature no matter how blessed that creature may be. References
