I have listened to the entire series on this subject. Suffering....why do I never hear a specific reference to physical pain caused my severe conditions that do require strong, physician prescribed drugs?? I DO hear teachings regarding people who turn to distractions i.e. drugs to relieve suffering but for goodness be specific!

Can anyone tell me how to start in buddhism I've been searching for past 1 years. There is no proper way 😕

Read a book, find a teacher, go on a retreat. For me the book was "What the Buddha Taught" by Wahula Rimpoche. The teacher was Gil Fronsdahl (youtube channel Insight Meditation Center). The retreat was 2005 Spirit Rock retreat on Satipathana with Bhante Gunaratana. You say there is no proper way. I guess I take that to mean you have not yet found one. Keep trying. Maybe you just don't have enough need for it, yet. I think most come to Buddhism as an answer to suffering in their life, perhaps you have just not reached that point, as yet. Try to find these near you if possible so you can visit them frequently

@@pries95132 I have no Buddhist temple near me and I don't have thay much money so I can attend any retreat. In terms of suffering, it's just a state of mind I don't count or neither I get effected by it. But anyways thanks for the info. :) cheers

"In the Buddha's words" by Bhikku Bodhi and "With Each and Every Breath" by Thanissaro Bhikku were the books that really made everything fit together for me. Maybe they will for you too?
