Thanks, Nate, for this lesson. I'm very analytical and if I lose a point I try to figure out what I did wrong. That's probably too much to try to think about in a match setting. To some extent, problem solving is good, but when I'm filling my head with too much of it, it works to my detriment.

Absolutely! You certainly want to problem solve strategies and tactics but it really should only occur briefly while in the "office". That way you still have time to get everything else in check in the other 3 rooms! Thanks for watching 😊🙌

Great info. Can't wait to try it on Wednesday (my next singles match) and share it with the high school team I coach. Thanks, Nate

Another great video, I don't know if Rafa does four rooms, but he does do all of this stuff. After a bad point he will make a face, flush it down, relax, think ahead and then set up, he is very obvious about it.

another great vodeo.. talk about breating when we strike the ball - i have a tendency to hold my breath when hitting - good or not?

The exhale really helps reduce tension and allow for a more fluid swing. It can also help assist with your timing. Exhaling as you hit or just after contact is ideal. Hope this helps!
