Most of his scenes are not that different from the previous One but it's the singing voice and the accent he does when he's Joker that makes me label this performance as very Bad. Those weren't in the previous film AND he doesn't get to have scenes that would show his range like the previous movie

I’m actually very happy with this year’s Razzie nominations because I was smart to stay away from all those bad films. Thank god none of my favorite films of 2024 gets any Razzie nominations. However, I’m surprised and not really happy that Joaquin Phoenix is nominated for worst actor as the Joker because he won an Oscar for playing the Joker 5 years ago. Even though Joker 2 is bad, Joaquin Phoenix is still my second favorite Joker after the late Heath Ledger.

Sorry for the rant: I find it hilarious how much people hate joker 2. I didnt like it that much either but for me it was miles better than emilia perez because it tried something very bold most sequels wouldnt. Emilia perez while tried to be bold but not only is it far too simplistic in script it is objectively bad in terms of how it represented mexican culture and dont get me started with selena's spanish!! Its so clear that the movie was made by some one ignorant of their own craft meanwhile even if joker 2 went wrong for me in some places it was still extremely aware of what it is!!! Also how is it that just bcs people hated the film the actor and perfomance gets the hate too!! Joaquin was as good as in the first one.

No wonder why Avi Arad has no involvement with the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the exception of Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, and the Tom Holland Spider-Man trilogy. Avi Arad was also not involved with the later X-Men films like the Wolverine trilogy, First Class, Days of Future Past, Apocalypse, and two forgettable ones: Dark Phoenix and New Mutant. While I agree the rest of the movies in your list were bad or forgettable, the two Fantastic Four films, X-Men 3, Spider-Man 3, and Uncharted were not that bad in my opinion. They were still entertaining. Ghost Rider (2007) and the Venom trilogy were fun guilty pleasure for me. As for the Daredevil movie, the theatrical cut was meh but the director’s cut was better. At least, Avi Arad did produced some good Marvel films like Blade 1 and 2, X-Men 1 and 2, Spider-Man 1 and 2, Ang Lee’s Hulk, and the animated Spider-Verse franchise.

Hmm... I felt a little bit mixed here. There were films that were deserving of the Razzle nominations, like Borderlands, The Crow, Madame Web (the one movie that changed how I watched movie in theaters), Kraven The Hunter, but there were also some movies that did not deserved some or all of the nominations like Joker or Megalopolis. And, this year, also marks a dark one, because many Oscar winners have suffered from a big fall from grace this year.

Madame Web should easily win Worst Picture. Wild Card: Borderlands Will not win: Joker: Folie A Deux. I disagree with Joker 2 nominated for Worst Movie. I enjoyed the movie for what it was (unless if any defender agrees with Tarantino), it’s so baffling why Razzies always gets it wrong whenever an actor gets much praise for their performance didn’t need to be nominated so that’s why they screwed up nominatating Jacquin Phoenix for Worst Actor. Replace him with Jason Baldoni instead cause he sucked as Nicepool in Deadpool and Wolverine or Russell Crowe in Kraven The Hunter or anyone from Night Swim that is this bad.
