The 4AGE crankshaft position sensor bracket is back!

I'm no longer making or selling any 4AGE brackets. I am willing to sell the design for an extremely reasonable price if someone wants to continue making them.
Made out of solid aluminum on a CNC machine
Simple, inexpensive and elegant solution for adding a crankshaft position sensor to your Toyota 4age engine
Is installed into the stock bolt holes on the oil pump (as shown in pictures). No modification of any sort is required for the install.
Simply get some longer bolt holes for the desired height of the bracket. Optimal location and install to ensure stability and accurate sensor signal.
Fits with inexpensive and readily available Ford crankshaft position sensors, which are compatible with almost all aftermarket ECUs. Part numbers: 6740816, 7517121, 6859705, etc.
Sensor protrusion and bracket height is easily adjustable with washers. Can be used with dual row or single row crankshaft pulleys, aftermarket or stock. Can be used with any trigger wheel.
Fitment with 4AGE engines using an AC is untested. Contact me if you have a 4age with AC and can test fitment and provide detailed images of the testing. I will send you a unit for free, just pay for the shipping.
Sensor, oil pump, trigger wheel, bolting hardware, washers, and crankshaft pulley are NOT INCLUDED.

Cool product although I would source some longer bolts and include that with the kit even if it raises the price very slightly. Just makes it a bit more complete in my opinion. 👍🏻

I did think a lot about that but decided against it as this bracket works with different pulleys requiring different heights and different bolt lengths. I would have to raise the price at least 6usd, because the shipping gets more expensive too. 2 bolts are less than that, even at the dealership :)

you could include some studs+lock nuts, plus a pack of washers as a separate addon for people who don't want to figure it out.

Got the bracket from you on eBay and it has works well. #1 You need a better envelope, it was torn but luckily the bracket was not lost. The bracket had some ding marks from shipping. #2 you have to grind off a section of the oil pump to make this bracket fit in my case (the oil pump on the engine I am working on AE86 the casting is different and has a huge bump between the two bolts where this bracket mounts) not a huge deal to me, but to others this might be a deal breaker. #3 the bracket is too long to be used with a T3 pulley setup properly, I had to remove the trigger wheel and mount it to the outboard part of the pulley which was problematic since I had already used loc-tite to secure the trigger wheel to the proper side of the pulley. Again not a huge deal but worth taking note of. #4 having to make a spacer or mounting device to hold VR sensor was a bit of a task, I ended up using some .250" tick nylon washers and trimming them to fit to work properly (1/2 days work doing this by hand). #5 this is just nit picking but who ever wrote the program to machine this part needs a little help with G41 G42 commands, you can see when the cutter comp turns on and off at radii. purely cosmetic though. HMU and I can supply you with a few pics of my install. THNX

First of all, thank you for your order. I'll address all the issues one by one. I will try to improve the packaging as the handling is extremely rough in some places. #2 and #3 if you read the item description on eBay you will see that I have clearly written that the bracket works on 4age oil pumps that are as pictured in the listing and for the trigger wheel mounted on the front. It can be mounted in many different ways and on different oil pump versions, but as you have seen it requires modification. #4 is also written in the listing and sensor protrusion must be adjusted with spacers as there are many different types of sensors and triggers. The easiest way to do this is to get the thinnest washers you can find and stack them, then you can avoid grinding. #5 yes, cosmetically it's not a perfect product, but it's an enthusiast made product and I worked really hard to have it at a very affordable price and save fellow enthusiasts time and money. The cnc shop that makes them is a small shop that started recently and was willing to work on many prototypes with me and give a reasonable price. I got quotes from big name shops, which would probably be cosmetically better, but costed three times more. If you have any other questions I am at your disposal. I'm glad I saw your video early this time. I put my order in before the video even finished, i didn't want to risk missing out again. I will be running a/c and it'll be on a 7age build so i hope it works out (im going to have to figure out what oil pump and all that jazz) Thanks for this awesome product it should help out when doing the c.o.p mod. I looked into building a 7AGE in the past, let us know what timing belt you plan to use. If I remember right I think the block deck heights are different between the 4ag and 7af. That's awesome that you're going for it!

I have a 4AGE with A/c and megasquirt on an AW11 if you want me to test it for you. I want to try using a 1zz trigger wheel (successor to the 4AGE) si ply because I have one.

But first, take a look at your engine and see whether the two bolts holes where this is installed on the oil pump are obviously obstructed by any of the AC stuff. If not and seems to be good, definitely shoot me an email.
