THE 5 BEST BEACHES IN THE SOUTH OF SRI LANKA- Tangalle - Bentota - Hikkaduwa - Unawatuna - Mirissa

I have ranked the best beaches in the south of Sri Lanka to be 5.Tangalle 4.Bentota 3.Hikkaduwa 2.Unawatuna and 1.Marissa.
Like I say in the video although l am counting down to my favourite beach, my least favourite & favourite is only marginally apart.
I also mention Dalawella beach, jungle beach, whale watching & turtle rescues centre. Each of these beaches have something unique about them that make them all worth visiting.

Both are very chilled and have cute cafes. Mirissa has more nightlife & Unawatuna has more restaurants. I think Mirissa is better because of the bars. I didn't take any yoga classes but I'm sure both have :)

Though the beautiful coral reefs in Hikkaduwa were sadly damaged by the 2004 Tsunami, there’s still an amazing amount of fish around. You can walk knee deep into the water, and they’ll just swim right up to you.

Polhena beach matara is very clear water, these beaches are clean although in the video it appears different...you should avoid beaches where there is a lot of small fishing boats...you can smell diesel in the air...nice if boats can use solar panels...
