A wise person once said “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” For better or worse, NFL teams have gone against that rule.
More specifically, some NFL clubs made the right decision to change up their logo, whether they needed to or not. While others, on the other hand, have made the huge mistake of replacing a perfectly fine logo with something that most would agree is pretty awful.
Here are the five best logo changes that NFL teams have made, and the five worst.

Jags new logo is so much better. I am pretty sure the Broncos logo was bought from the former CFL Baltimore Stallions when they left upon the Ravens moving to Baltimore. The team changed it, but I'm almost certain they bought the rights to that logo to begin with.

As a bengals fan I love it actually. a regular tiger head would b very generic especially with r orange white and black colors. ppl won’t know if bengals fans r repping bengals gear or regular tiger gear. The B is an iconic classic and I gotta say it’s pretty unique. Steelers logo is so lame. It’s literally a circle with a bunch of random colors

Ravens fan here, the actual bengal logo is a top 5 logo in the nfl imo. It’s menacing and cool. The current 🅱️ is so uninspired and pays literally zero homage to Cincinnati. If it was a C with the bengal stripes I would sorta get it, but as of now it’s just lazy. Dope helmets and new unis tho

The Colts Horseshoe is a classic and has a lot of history they are not getting rid of it anytime soon. However, I wouldn't mind going back to an updated version of the original logo. But the current logo is nowhere near as bad as some of these others. Also, the slight changes they've made to it have made it better. Its simple and classic, which is why it has been around so long.

I have been a Rams fan for nearly 50 years now. I first started to follow them because I loved their uniform. When I heard all the outrage over the Rams logo and uniform change I expected something hideous, instead o absolutely love their new uniform and their new helmet is beautiful. I just received my replica full sized helmet for my man cave yesterday. Anyway I see most logos in a good light not many I don't like. Looking at the Bucs I'd love to see them do their original logo with the Buccaneer in their current colors as an alternate, I think their uniform is sharp.

Old TB and Denver uniform colors were some of the best colors same with Chargers. Don't know why teams don't want anything unique in the modern NFL. Just same drab dark colors mixed with white.

Nah fam, the 1997 Tampa Bay Bucs uniforms are some of the best in the NFL's history. They're not only beautiful but tough-looking at the same time. The old creamisicle uniforms are a nice throwback to wear every once in a while though.

Also, those old Broncos uniforms were HORRENDOUS. I agree that the newer dark navy blue ones were kind of boring, but those brighter orange ones they brought out in 2012 when Peyton Manning joined were the perfect balance.

The old broncos blue was weak. Weak weak sauce. As soon as we updated our logo we won a Superbowl homie. Old logo and colors were dumb. That old bucs logo is the ugliest thing I have ever seen in my entire life. I don't know if it's the lady pirate winking at me or that hilarious orange creamsicle but they make me wanna puke. New bucs logo is gorgeous. You either have an interesting (aka horrible) taste or hold something against the year 1997.

I agree with the old creamsicle uniforms. I loved both, but just love the white and orange combo. The Bucs new colors and the flag logo are just the new iconic logo, and I do enjoy it as well. A favorite of mine has always been the stripe patterns on the helmet of the bengals, but I do agree that the tiger logo was much cooler.

I actually agree with TPS with most of these takes. Well done. I did love when the Bucs changed their logo /unis back in the late 90s, and I like the updated one as well. I think their current uniforms are the best they've ever had. I do think it's fun how the old school orange and red unis have been romanticized recently. It'll be cool to see them wear those again next season.

Back the the Bucco Bruce logo was considered to be ugly, unintimidating and associated with losing. I think it was a great change and the Buccaneers came up with one of the NFL's best, most clever logos that do a good job of blending old and new. It's been kinda interesting to see the old colors and logo be romanticized recently though.

I disagree with you vehemently... the current Bucs's colors/uniforms, as well as the ones from 1997 to 2012, were some of the absolute BEST in the entire history of the NFL. As a Ravens fan I love our logo since it was added in 1999. Plus the Raven shield on the side of the jersey is very cool. Plus we have the most uniform combos in the league. (Purple/White, Purple/Purple, Purple/Black, Whiteout, White/Black, White/Purple, Blackout, Black/White, Black/Purple, Color Rush Purple) I LOVE IT!

The Horseshoe is iconic and historic. I personally love the simple Horseshoe. As a life long Colts fan of over 50 years, I say, leave it alone. You talk about cartoon like charecters being lame but love the cartoon eagle and bronco. Colts horseshoe is perfect in my opinion.

About the Eagles' new jerseys/logo, in addition to looking sooo much better, I would have also added, they were sooo much more successful under the new changes. Andy Reid era, which brought about some of the more iconic players in franchise history like McNabb, Westbrook, & of course Dawkins, 5 NFC Championship appearances, 6 NFC East titles, & a Super Bowl appearance, as well as 3 more NFC East titles & their only Super Bowl title since the end of the Andy Reid era, as well as countless playoff appearances over the years.

5:40 as an eagles fan, the logo has too many outlines & midnight green is not a real color. There are so many variations to the color & it is starting to look dated. Logo should have the extra outlines removed and unis go back to forest 60s green as primary IMO. Great vid.

It's weird, as a Rams fan from the first time they were in LA, I was never a big fan of their unis. While classic, they just didn't win me over until they came back to LA. I'm guessing the more sleek modern unis are better suited for that blue and yellow design but then they had to change it. I don't mind the new ones too much but I hate the egg colored variant of their white uniforms. Just use a traditional white, it looks better even if it's much more common. What's worse is when at home and given the choice, they often go with those white jerseys over the blue ones. Why?

The Colts were still in Baltimore when they changed to the horseshoe logo in 1979. They infamously moved to Indianapolis in 1984.

To me the Rams should not go back to their old logo and instead have their secondary logo of a white ram's head their current logo. While the Rams old logo is nice, it doesn't have their actual colors they have now of blue and yellow. One of the few positives about the Rams new logo is that they actually have the words LA, written in blue and white. Their secondary logo would be a good fit because it's still a ram, and it's colors would fit too because it is a white ram with a yellow horn. So yeah they should have their secondary logo as their current logo instead.

Many teams carry logo variations and historic logos that are used for different things like helmets, chest, arms, etc. The Ravens have the sideways bird, a front facing bird, a letter B, and a shield with flag. I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to disagree with the Jaguars hot take. First of all, the newer logo looks more like a jaguar than the old one. The old one looks more like a leopard/jaguar hybrid. Two, you can't tell me that Cheeto Puff-looking spots look better than the newer, legit spots. Three, the new color scheme looks so much better. Otherwise, most of your takes were somewhat reasonable to completely reasonable. Good video!

I always thought the Rams helmet with the painted horns was the best. Soon as you turn the channel and seen that helmet you knew exactly who was playing. Some of these helmets are so generic they are starting to look the same.
