Ok I been playing for 7 months 1. go for cross creese one timer works if you time it right every time. 2 short side wrist shot just juke then aim top shelve I also like doing medium to long range wrist shots for easy rebound goals and my go to is behind the net, you want to set your offense to behind the net offense then use a good to great center or winger behind the net a cycle and wait for a opening the defender will come help slightly to double you and that will leave your left winger wide open for a millisecond so you gotta time it right. If you get good at it, it’s a nice weapon to pull out especially if you play competitive modes like hut or threes.

I can do the backhand cheese pretty easily with a right-handed player (flick right, flick left, shoot), but I just f**king can't do it with a left handed player (flick left, flick right, shoot). My thumb just can't flick to the right then shoot. My player's stick either swings to the right too late and won't shoot, or he will shoot before he did the swing. My thumb just can;'t do it. Any suggestion on how you are holding the analog stick or something?

Around the net tuck is also very effective by wheeling the dman going behind the net and bringing it out faking the oppostie side to shoot and then you go backhand when they goalie moves out of the goal line for an open shot.

My cousin and i play 3's in eashl and we've played probably a dozen seasons in division 1. The first deke is more effective if you go backhand then go forehand while slightly curving your skating trajectory toward you forehand side, then go to your backhand and swerve back to the back hand an instant before putting it in backhand. Probably about an 80% success rate on breakaways and 90% on penalty shots. backhand, swerve to forehand side while forehanded, swerve to backhand side while backhanded, shoot.

I'm a defenseman in eashl and when i see a slapshot from an angle i always charge to the front of the other side of the net and the puck usually hits my skates or stick during the rebound effort and it ruins the offense's day.
