One of the biggest dirtbags in the game. So glad the Rangers made a fool of him this year....

Thank you for making this. My grandfather played on the arenas. Harry Mummery. He won the cup with quebec bulldogs in 1912 1913 season and the in 1917 1918. He was paid 333.00 for the year and lived in Brandon Manitoba, where he was a locomotive engineer in the off season. To my knowledge he was the first american born player to play in the nhl. He was also the largest man in the league at 5' 11" 240 lbs. Seems small for this day and age. He was also a bit of a baby maker having 11 kids. Thanks again for making this it put a smile on my face.

I feel for him I’m a former minor pro goalie and suffer from bipolar depression as well as being in recovery from alcohol and substance abuse and I can’t say I haven’t spent a lot on my fair share of bad investments plus have head numerous hip surgeries and injuries and bad concussions… I hope he lands back on his feet

It's insane to think coaches used to think of goalies as "weak" if they opted for a mask when they were first becoming integrated. Okay than tough guy, I'll go without one if you step in the crease real quick and let me rocket a slapper right to your dome. Masks would CLEARLY give a goaltender more confidence not having the constant fear of a 90 mph puck to the face.

I’m a Rangers fan and I like Tony. It seemed he was scapegoated a bit as I’ve heard he was well liked in the locker room. With that being said, I knew his stay would not be long due to their defensive roster and upcoming prospects at the time.

this video doesnt capture the magnitude of that final game. you have to understand that Czechs have been occupied by Russia for decades and a lot of times in past they couldnt win against soviets because of what the regime would do to them after their return. Thats why there were always fights during games with russians, and the fact that we faced them during final game made the win incredibly sweeter than if it was with anyone else, basically cementing the whole team as national heroes because it meant more than just a simple gold medal win. And no, its not true that Czechs didnt repeat their success, they didnt won olympic gold but they won multiple world championships and other things and are regarded as one of the best national hockey teams every year.

Buddy as a life long Boston resident and Bruins fan those teams weren’t elite and most people in Boston were sick of the team being good enough to make the playoffs but were barely better than a 1 and done in the playoffs

@jordancivic9629 күн бұрын
That's impressive. Hell, if not for the 69-70 season, the Montreal Canadiens would have the record by a mile at 46 seasons. But instead, they narrowly missed the playoffs that season, and ended with separate streaks of 21 and 24 seasons So to put together 29 straight seasons with playoffs together is just ridiculous
