The swift slash AoW is a pain to deal with, half the dlc invaders I see just spam it and have either no backup weapon or just switch to another skill to spam.

It has great damage for its weight class, the charged heavies do as much as greatswords in terms of poise. The pillars from the fire stance are also good and if you want an optimal build I recommend to have about 25 int and faith and the rest into dex (don’t forget the minimum requirements for str) You could use Rellana’s cameo for openings, dragoncrest greatshield for defence, rotten winged sword insignia (or millicent’s prosthesis for +5 dex) and finally either the magic scorpion charm or fire scorpion charm Good luck :>

Probably not built around it. Kinda same here, I’m Faith/Dex/Strength. It does decent damage for me maxed out and the flame part of the ash is really good for me cause of faith scaling, the magic one has less range than I thought. But it’s pretty good

Seriously I've been running a storm caller build with the death knights longhaft axe?(Not sure if thts the name but it's the big lightning axe), fire knights great sword with flame spear, and the smithscript cirque with divine beast hoarfrost stomp and tht sword is so nice I love it. Of course I've got tht tornado incant, messmers orb, and some lightning incants

Swift slash also applies status build up. It’s also not a reactable attacking (you can’t dodge it on reaction unless on extremely high lag) The explosion from swift slash always flinches no matter your poise Swift slash also cannot be blocked. Well done From Software.

Tip: the blast from white light charge is much smaller than it seems. It only hits slightly in front of the tip of the blade and a few feet or so on the flanks and almost never anything behind your character. So if the initial charge doesn’t connect the blast most likely won’t either and that drains FP, so save yourself from eating a great hammer to the face and hit confirm the thrust:)

That swift slash has killed me more in pvp in the past 2 days than anything else in the past 2 years. Screw the guys making the most ridiculous, nearly impossible to counter builds just to feel good about themselves while dogging on some casual players just trying to play the game together

Star lined sword isn't an int weapon. It's dexterity weapon with useless int requirement slapped on top of it Scaling from int is abysmal even at +10, so the only correct way to build around star-lined sword is just barely enough int to wield it and the rest is in dexterity

Eh, Rellana’s swords are above average. The SoNaF is better in most ways, it has a ranged fire attack that enemies can’t dodge, the magic attack is much easier to use and at a longer distance. It doesn’t use as much stamina as the Rellana’s twin swords and it can be powerstanced with another straight sword for probably a moveset just as good as the light greatsword powerstancing moveset. I’m not saying Rellana’s twin swords are bad, they are great. But sword of night and flame outclasses it in most ways. Cool swords tho, fun to use.

"RAKSHASA SET" is the name! (To defeat Rakshasa easily, spam the "Starcaller Cry" Ash of war on them that you get on the Great Swords from General Radahn's Remembrance in the base game.). You will also get a sweet great katana that has an unstoppable ash of war called "Weed Whacker"

@LW5453 Since op wants to continue the trend of being a child with questions, I'll explain instead. Scadutree fragments, go grab all of them. The DLC is scaled to YOUR level, I reccomend being around 125-150. Perfect range for not too wild pvp spam and enemies will hurt, but not as hard as 200+.
